Naomi Watts puts on a brave face in NYC two days after death of her grandmother
As a dedicated follower of the glamorous world of Hollywood, I’ve always admired the resilience and grace that actresses like Naomi Watts possess. The recent news of her grandmother‘s passing at 101, just two days ago, is a poignant reminder of the fleeting nature of life.
On Tuesday, in New York City, Naomi Watts appeared thoughtful while buying flowers, following the passing of her beloved grandmother who was 101 years old, just two days prior.
The actress, 56, wore a tan coat over black leggings with study-looking work boots.
Her hair was pulled back into a low ponytail as she perused the buckets of flowers.
On Monday the 21 Grams star announced the passing of her grandmother and paid tribute.
Sharing a picture on social media, the spouse of actor Billy Crudup (age 56), affectionately known as the Watcher star, posted a heartfelt image of her cherished grandmother proudly displaying a telegram from King Charles III, bearing his royal emblem.
On another pair of occasions, Naomi can be found rejoicing alongside family and friends as they honor her grandmother reaching the century mark.
‘Our Granny Watts made it to 101 and a half,’ her post began. ‘
‘She got her letter from the King to celebrate her century.
‘Last night she rested in peace. RIP,’ she continued alongside a pink love heart emoji.
Currently, Naomi is filming the Ryan Murphy legal drama All’s Fair in Manhattan.
In addition to its upcoming run, the Hulu series boasts an impressive cast that includes Kim Kardashian, Glenn Close, Sarah Paulson, Niecy Nash, and Teyana Taylor.
The Kardashian family’s upcoming series will have Kardashian serving as an executive producer, with her mother, Kris Jenner, making an appearance on screen as well.
The show revolves around a prestigious, women-only law office, often characterized as a sophisticated, stylish, and sensual legal drama for adults.
Initially unveiled in December, All’s Fair marked the start of Murphy’s extensive agreement with Disney, being the initial series under this new contract.

The series will depict Kim as a dominant divorce attorney based in Los Angeles, where she heads a thriving female-only legal practice.
It seems that the character portrayed by Kim in this context may have been partially modeled on Laura Wasser, a real-life attorney who handled Kim’s divorce cases with Kanye West and Kris Humpries.
