3 candidates to hold the WWE Women's Intercontinental Championship

As a gamer who has spent countless hours watching and analyzing WWE Raw, I can confidently say that the introduction of the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship is a much-needed step towards recognizing the immense talent in the women’s division.

As a gaming enthusiast who’s also a passionate WWE fan, I can’t help but feel pumped about the latest development in the women’s division! On November 25th, our beloved GM Adam Pearce unveiled the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, a move that seems to be solidifying the mid-card scene for us ladies. It’s not the only solution, but it’s definitely a step in the right direction with so many gifted women on the Raw roster.

Honorable Mentions: Kayden Carter & Natalya

Kayden Carter could potentially win a singles title in WWE, even though she’s primarily known for her tag team victories. Her ability to grab a solo championship might catch many off guard. However, Carter is an accomplished wrestler with a versatile move set that deserves recognition. Fans have mainly seen her since 2018 in WWE, but she’s demonstrated promising skills on the independent scene too.

Natalya is an excellent choice to win the IC title. She’s a seasoned pro, highly respected by all in women’s wrestling. If WWE is looking for a reliable pick who can initially hold the title and then pass it on to an emerging performer, Natalya is the ideal candidate for the role.

Dakota Kai

As a passionate fan, I’ve longed for Dakota Kai to shine – she’s one of those beloved figures who’s faced an unlucky string of setbacks throughout her career. From knee injuries to unexpected releases, it seems like fate hasn’t been kind to her. But if luck swings in her favor and she can stay injury-free, she could easily become a fan favorite superstar in the women’s division. Placing the Intercontinental Championship on her would ignite enthusiasm and curiosity about her title reign from day one.

Shayna Baszler

Shayna Baszler is an accomplished performer who hasn’t yet been given as much prominence on the main roster compared to others. She excels in all areas of both athletics and entertainment. Known for her impressive titles, Baszler has held the NXT Women’s Championship twice and the Women’s Tag Team Championship three times. Many believe she possesses the talent needed to become a main roster champion, both in terms of her ring skills and character development. However, she continues to be positioned in a mid-tier role that restricts her potential for greater achievements. Giving Baszler a new title could reignite interest in a solo push for her.

Zelina Vega

As a dedicated gamer following the WWE women’s division, I can’t forget Zelina Vega’s electrifying match against Rhea Ripley at WWE Backlash. Her ability to engage with fans is truly remarkable, and it’s evident she’s a seasoned pro who’s been in the game for quite some time, not just within the WWE but beyond. If she manages to grab the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, it would be a career-defining moment that I, along with her legion of fans, would eagerly celebrate. Here’s hoping she embarks on a successful title run as the first woman to ever hold that prestigious belt!
