Kristen Doute is going to be a mom!
41-year-old former star of Vanderpump Rules, has shared the exciting news that she and her fiancé, Luke Broderick, are expecting their first child together.
Doute shared the baby news and snaps of her baby bump as she confirmed her pregnancy with People.
With a heart full of joy, the popular television personality gently touched her expanding belly, displaying her ultrasound image with pride.
Doubt, discussing her experiences from last year’s miscarriage, shared insights into her family planning process. She mentioned consulting a fertility specialist during the summer as an additional boost in her efforts.
She shared with the publication that following our miscarriage in the previous year, we opted to begin trying again in early 2024. Given my advanced age might impact conception, Luke and I talked about seeking additional assistance or extra efforts in our attempts.
Come autumn, she opted to consult with a fertility expert to explore our choices and determine the following move if we chose that path. The ensuing month was a flurry of activity – learning about fertility matters, and eventually receiving hormone injections and readying my body for IUI (intrauterine insemination), she explained.
The duo turned to Dr. Carolyn Alexander at the Southern California Reproductive Center for assistance, a process they deemed ‘remarkable’ or ‘extraordinary.’
And not long after, Doute became pregnant.
After the Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) treatment, the subsequent two weeks seemed endless. For a reliable pregnancy test outcome, I needed to wait two weeks, but deep down, I was certain it had been successful. A day ahead of schedule, I took the test and was overjoyed to see the positive result flash back at me.
Feeling a mix of relief, joy, excitement, happiness, and a touch of nerves, I couldn’t contain myself when I shared the news with Luke. His response wasn’t one of surprise, but rather pure, unadulterated happiness that IUI worked on our first try – something we had braced ourselves for the possibility it might not. To put it mildly, he was ecstatic and thrilled beyond belief!
The couple’s child is due in June.
Kristen excitedly shared that she and her partner can’t wait to grow their small household and take on the joyful role of parenthood!
