She had the surgery following her disclosure about having an extremely uncommon colloid cyst, which impacts approximately three individuals out of every million.

On a emotional note, she expressed her gratitude to her loved ones via Instagram on Monday, while battling back tears. She also shared an honest account of her current state as she continues her recovery, keeping her followers in the loop.

In a video chat recorded from her bed, she warmly expressed gratitude saying: “Hello! Just wanted to reach out and extend my deepest appreciation to everyone who has sent messages or connected with me.

Returning home has felt incredibly meaningful, even amidst the chaos. It’s truly heartwarming to be back where I belong. I find myself on a new side of things, and my short-term memory could use some improvement, but that’s something I can address and am excited about rectifying.

As a devoted admirer, I’m meticulously jotting down each action I take to ensure my sense of security. Remarkably, Michael and my mom are taking exceptional care of me, leaving no stone unturned in their nurturing efforts.

“I want to take a moment to show appreciation for all the wonderful stepmoms out there. Truth be told, I don’t express gratitude to Gabby often enough. Throughout my life, she has been a constant source of support and strength for me.

In other health news after her procedure, Michael shared that the operation went exactly as expected and he expressed his heartfelt appreciation for all the support everyone has shown.

He wrote: ‘Hey all, Davina is out of surgery and according to the surgeon it was textbook!

‘She’s currently recovering in ICU as a precaution, as you can imagine she’s utterly exhausted.’

Michael commented: We are extremely appreciative for all the kindness shown by everyone here… it’s incredibly impactful, and we can’t thank you enough. Michael, with love.

Davina explained that she received the diagnosis by chance after booking in for a ‘health scan’.

In the video, Davina shared that she received an offer for a health scan, assuming she would excel at it. However, she discovered an extremely rare, benign brain tumor instead – one that occurs only about three times out of a million people.

For a short period, I chose to ignore the issue at hand, sought advice from a few brain surgeons, formed numerous opinions, and eventually understood that it was essential to address the matter directly.

It’s rather large, measuring approximately 14 millimeters across, and I need to get it taken out because if it continues to grow, it could cause problems. I’ve scheduled its removal.

She added: ‘Say a prayer for me. I’m in good spirits.’

Davina shared that though she wasn’t facing an imminent threat, her doctors had expressed worries that the tumor might expand further and lead to potential complications in the future.

I shared that my emotional state has been fluctuating, and I clarified that I will be spending at least nine days in the hospital before returning home.

As a diligent follower, I’ve often encountered situations where individuals come forward with headaches, but it’s not uncommon to see additional symptoms such as dizziness (vertigo), challenges with memory recall, and double vision too.

If a colloid cyst becomes sufficiently large, it can block the flow of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) within the brain, potentially causing a significant risk of abrupt, life-threatening complications.
