TiMi Studio Group and Capcom have announced that sign-ups are now open for the second closed beta test of Monster Hunter Outlanders. You’ll have until April 21st to register.
The official website outlines the upcoming beta:
Hey, Adventurers!
We’re starting sign-ups today for a second closed beta test of Monster Hunter Outlanders! This test will help us improve the game before it officially launches. Here are the details to make sure everyone has a good experience.
Q: How do I participate in the beta test?
Only those who have registered for the beta test through the survey link will be granted access. We’ll announce the start date separately, so please check our official channels for updates.
Q: How will I know if I’ve been selected?
After registration closes, chosen participants will be emailed an invitation. We’ll share the exact date these invitations will be sent, along with other important information, on our official website and social media pages soon.
Q: Which account should I use to log in during the beta test?
You’ll use the email address you provided in the application survey to get into the beta test. Please carefully review all your answers before submitting, because incorrect information could keep you from participating.
Q: Will in-app purchases be available during this beta test?
No, you won’t be able to make purchases within the app during this beta test. That’s because it doesn’t include any paid features, and all progress will be reset when the test ends.
Q: What will happen with my gameplay data from the beta test?
This is a closed beta, meaning it’s only for invited players. Just a heads-up: all your progress and data will be wiped clean when the test ends.
Q: Can I share gameplay content I’ve taken during the second beta test, such as screenshots, videos, or streams?
Feel free to share your experiences with the beta test! You can post screenshots, videos, and streams of your gameplay, as long as you follow the law and the platform’s terms of service. Keep in mind that the game is still being developed, so what you see in the beta might change before the final version comes out. We’re excited to hear what you think! Just a reminder that everything from the first closed beta (November 2025) is still private.
Q: Are there any age restrictions for the beta test?
I’m so excited about the beta, but just a heads-up – it’s only open to players who are 18 and older. Unfortunately, if you’re younger than that, you won’t be able to join in this time.
Q: Where can I go if I have more questions about the closed beta test?
Please join our official Discord community to share your feedback and ask any questions you have.
Monster Hunter Outlanders will include familiar features from the console Monster Hunter games, like a variety of weapons, equipment, and the core gameplay experience fans love. A new addition is the ability to team up with other playable Hunters as allies. You can play the game on your own or join up to three other players for cooperative multiplayer.
