2021 saw the debut of Alchemy Stars, a revolutionary blend of fantasy strategy role-playing games set in the captivating realm of Astra. This world is brimming with enchantment and technology, offering an immersive experience. For ages, two species – the Aurorians and Caelestites – have cohabited peacefully until a sudden attack by the Eclipsites. In this game, you assume the role of the last known Caelestite, saved by an Aurorian. You engage in turn-based battles, control the Colossus, and form alliances with Aurorians to combat these ominous beings.

It’s been announced by Alchemy Stars on Weibo that they will shut down their operations in Mainland China on January 24, 2025. This news isn’t unexpected, as it was revealed yesterday through data mining that new sign-ups and recharge options would soon become unavailable.

1) The process of suspending the game has started: the game recharge functions are now closed. For the next two hours, the game’s service will also be suspended, and no new players will be able to register during this period. Afterward, existing players can log in as usual. Lastly, the game will permanently cease all operations on January 24, 2025.

The devs are preparing farewell gifts and compensation for all the fans

Here’s some great news! The developers have assured us they’ll release an offline variant of the game, which you can download from the app store or update directly on your current client. Plus, it will keep the light theme and costume, along with some fundamental features. This new version is anticipated to roll out before the game is shut down.

Additionally, you’ll get a unique main storyline upgrade, 1000 Summon Stars, and six-star Light Spirits labeled as such. These rewards can be claimed from your in-game mailbox. Remember, you can keep playing the game until the closing date.
