Season three of XO, Kitty immediately felt like it was leading to a conclusion, largely because of Kitty’s (Anna Cathcart) “Sunset List.” This list contained everything she wanted to achieve during her final year at K.I.S.S., such as getting good grades, strengthening her connection to her Korean heritage, and making lasting memories with her friends. Most importantly, she wanted to figure out her relationship with Min Ho (Sang Heon Lee).

After two seasons and appearances by Peter (Noah Centineo) and Margot (Janel Parrish), fans were thrilled to finally see Lara-Jean (Lana Condor) make a cameo appearance!

Lana Condor expressed how happy she was to return and see Anna, praising her work in building the world of XO, Kitty. She said it’s a dream to collaborate with her again and she feels thrilled and honored to be a part of the project.

With season three focusing on Kitty’s final year of high school, it definitely felt like the end of a chapter. However, the season didn’t conclude in a way that suggested it was a series finale.

Okay, so I’m totally hooked on XO, Kitty and I’m already wondering if we’re getting a season four! Here’s what I’ve found out about whether it’s been renewed or not.

Will there be an XO, Kitty season 4?

As of now, Netflix hasn’t officially announced whether XO, Kitty will return for a fourth season, but many expect it to be renewed soon.

The show ended with a lot of possibilities for the future, as Min Ho and Kitty headed to Portland to spend winter break with her family.

While this relationship appears ideal, it started unexpectedly and Min Ho wasn’t ready. The big question is, how will his family react, and will their opinion affect things?

We also couldn’t imagine Cathcart saying no to being reunited with Kitty for another season.

The actor shared with The Hollywood Reporter in January 2025 that they feel fortunate to have experienced life alongside their co-star, growing up together. They expressed admiration for this person, seeing them as someone to learn from, and described a unique connection—a sense of friendship despite recognizing they are fundamentally the same individual.

I admire her courage and how openly she follows her heart. It’s something I really wish I could do more of, and I’ve noticed it especially lately.

She explained that the character sometimes has an overwhelming amount of love, which she expresses in various ways at different times. She found this incredibly brave and touching, and it’s a quality she hopes to remember from playing the role.

What will happen in XO, Kitty season 4?

We were thrilled to see that Kitty and Min Ho weren’t the only couple who rekindled their romance by the end of season three.

Yuri (Gia Kim) and Juliana (Regan Aliyah) rekindled their relationship after being apart for a while, and this time it feels more genuine and stable because they’ve dropped the games and drama.

Dae and Eunice found a way to turn their casual relationship into something more serious, avoiding the challenges of teen parenthood. Meanwhile, Q and Jin almost split up but are now working to strengthen their connection.

Professor Alex and Kitty’s cousin Jiwon are expecting a baby, but with the season ending and everyone making plans for the future – including moving away for school or work – it’s uncertain what will happen to all the new couples.

The fourth season would probably delve deeper into the characters’ relationships, and might even show what happens after they graduate and start facing real-world challenges.

Now that Kitty is studying at NYU in New York and Min Ho is pursuing a music career, the question is whether their relationship will last, or if they’ll go their separate ways.

Kitty’s travels weren’t just about finding love; she was also searching for a connection to her deceased mother. She ultimately found that connection, but true to the spirit of XO, Kitty, the storyline concludes with a grand, celebratory resolution.

We’re going to re-watch the entire series while we wait to hear if it’s been renewed.
