Superman & Lois successfully dived right into an ongoing narrative, providing glimpses of significant past events that seamlessly integrated with the series’ current storylines. Even if future DCU films opt for fewer subtle flashbacks, it’s reassuring because we are already familiar with these characters and their stories, so we won’t feel confused when encountering new versions of them in movies.
