Jack Whitehall thanked the Daily Mail for helping him remember details of his bachelor party, admitting to Chris Moyles that the drinking started early – around 11 a.m.
The soon-to-be SNL host, age 37, had a fun night out last Saturday with James Corden and Jamie Redknapp. They went to a mini-golf bar called Swingers and then visited a nightclub known for its lively atmosphere.
Comedian and actor Jack Whitehall, who is marrying model Roxy Horner, 34, in the coming weeks, shared some stories about his past mistakes during a recent interview with Radio X.
Honestly, he admitted things got a little hazy – he started on the Guinness around 11am! But he insisted the whole celebration was actually quite mild. It’s funny, because from what I heard, even he seemed surprised by how ‘tame’ he thought it was, considering!
He described it as fairly reasonable and not too wild. He began drinking Guinness around 11 AM.
That wasn’t a very smart decision. My memory of the evening is a bit fragmented and unclear.
Fortunately, the Daily Mail published a detailed account of everything I did the night before, so I woke up to a complete rundown of my evening.
Let me tell you, this is a story! Apparently, someone was playfully decked out for a day out – they had to wear an inflatable crown, a Tottenham Hotspur jersey, and even a cape! It sounds like a hilarious and memorable experience, honestly.
Oh my gosh, you will NOT believe what Jack did! He started the whole Saturday off by wearing a golden crown – a golden crown! – and led a six-hour pub crawl all over Soho. It was legendary, absolutely legendary. I was there, of course, and it was the best day ever!
He was joined on his stag by Redknapp, Corden and ex-rugby player Lawrence Dallaglio.
James, 47, and Jamie, 52, worked with Whitehall for many years on the Sky comedy panel show, A League Of Their Own.
The group kicked off Jack’s bachelor party at the Devonshire pub around 3pm. He was already having a great time, toasting and laughing with his friends.
Their camaraderie was evident with pictures showing the group laughing and embracing each other.
By 5 p.m., the party had relocated to The Box, a usually nighttime-only cabaret club in Soho, for what everyone believed was a private performance.
At 8.30pm the celebrations took a playful turn with a round of mini-golf at Swingers.
Okay, so James disappeared for like, two hours, and everyone was freaking out! The rumor going around – and I need this to be true – is that he just went home to tuck his kids in! Can you imagine? Such a dad move! Then he came right back to us, which is amazing. Seriously, he’s the best.
Later, the group continued their evening at the bar in the Soho Hotel, and rumors circulated that someone from Whitehall might also be staying at the hotel, joining them for drinks.
Jack and Roxy have been together since 2020 and got engaged in 2024. They welcomed their first child in September 2023.
