As a seasoned film enthusiast who has followed Tori Spelling’s career closely, I must say that her latest venture, “Lost in the Everglades,” seems to be a fascinating turn in her acting journey. The fact that she’s playing a mom who turns into a badass in the Everglades is intriguing and, quite frankly, feels like a role she was born to play, given her real-life experience as a mother of five!

Tori Spelling gave fans a glimpse of the set of her upcoming film Lost In The Everglades on Friday.

The 51-year-old actress and TV personality shared photos of her fresh surroundings on Instagram, striking poses aboard a fishing vessel while wearing a tank top, trousers, a denim shirt, and high-end shades.

In a shocking photo, she got up close and personal with an alligator on the Florida set — fearlessly grinning beside the dangerous reptile that is nearly difficult to spot in the swamp.

Additionally, Spelling, who is also serving as an executive producer for the project, shared a behind-the-scenes look at herself filming alongside her co-star Nick Ballard (age 43 and quite handsome) with her 1.8M followers.

‘Experiencing the filming of “Lost in The Everglades” has been an extraordinary journey – filled with alligators, exhilarating airboat rides, and a determined woman (that’s me!). This movie promises suspense, unexpected turns, and plenty of Everglades excitement. I can hardly wait to share this wild adventure with you and show you why they called me the SWAMP QUEEN on set! Keep an eye out for updates!’

The movie is currently being shot in Miami, Florida, in Everglades National Park, and it follows the agonizing quest of a mother (Spelling) in the harsh Everglades wilderness as she searches for her missing daughter.

Spelling confirmed she joined the film’s cast earlier this year, making waves with her fans.

In her latest episode on the Misspelling podcast, she shared an account of an exhilarating experience where she managed to cope with an unexpected run-in with an alligator while filming was underway.

She remembered: During our filming session, they warned everyone, “We’ve spotted an alligator,” and indeed, I also saw one. They reassured me, “There’s no need to be concerned; he’s merely inquisitive, being a young one.

She replied, “That’s intriguing…won’t it not bite?” They all do, she clarified. “It’s as if they say, ‘He’s a small one, only seven feet tall compared to the usual twelve.’

The actress also said that they ran into an alligator known as ‘Richard’ and when she asked why he had the name, locals told her is was because the gator is a ‘d***.’

In simpler terms, she explained that she had to pretend to struggle because she wanted to appear as if she needed help, saying something like “Help, help, I’m a girl.” As she spoke, she noticed an alligator nearby, approximately 25-30 feet away, which was quite close.

As I dart forward, he swiftly spins around, a speed I’ve rarely witnessed. It’s as if the chaos of a Black Friday sale at Nordstrom had been bottled and unleashed, but even then, I’d never found myself moving quite so quickly.

He soared from the water, heading straight towards me, with only the instruction of “Remove Tori from the water” echoing in my ears.

The blonde beauty admitted that she had a difficult time moving in the water and quipped she had to ‘rumba’ and ‘foxtrot’ out.

In the Everglades wilderness, Tommi Rose, Nick Ballard, Joseph Cannon, Nick Flaig, and Nikki Nunziato are among the cast members.

The project is being directed by Damián Romay. There is no confirmed release date for the film.

In August, Spelling shared on Instagram that she had started filming for the movie “Lost in The Everglades.” She expressed excitement about this role, stating it felt quite relatable as she plays a mom not often venturing out, but transforms into a tough character when searching for her missing daughter within the Everglades.

I’m absolutely thrilled about filming here, with alligators added to the scenery! So grateful to work alongside such a skilled team, from our outstanding director Damián Romay to the whole cast and crew. #LostInTheEverglades
