The new movie, “The Drama,” features a couple getting married, and it’s arriving in theaters as rumors swirl that stars Zendaya and Tom Holland secretly tied the knot earlier this year – thanks to a tip from Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach! This summer, the real-life couple will also be back together on screen in the fourth “Spider-Man” movie, “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” the series that brought them together. Fans can expect to see Zendaya and her rumored husband working together on several projects throughout the year.

The Drama

Zendaya is reportedly getting married… in a movie! She’ll play the bride in Kristoffer Borgli’s upcoming dark comedy, “The Drama,” alongside a popular British actor.

The Emmy-winning actor stars alongside Pattinson in the movie, playing a couple – Charlie Thompson (Pattinson) and Emma Harwood (Zendaya) – getting ready to get married. However, their seemingly perfect relationship starts to fall apart when Emma shares a big secret right before the wedding.

To quote Pattinson’s Charlie in the trailer: “There’s some drama.”

Zendaya continued her tradition of dressing to reflect her character by incorporating the “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue” bridal theme into her red carpet outfits for the film’s premiere. She revisited a vintage Vivienne Westwood gown from the 2015 Oscars as her “something old,” wore a brand new custom white Louis Vuitton gown with a black bow as her “something new,” and borrowed a striking black Giorgio Armani gown with a jeweled neckline previously worn by Cate Blanchett. Fans are still waiting to see what she’ll choose for her “something blue.”

Borgli’s new film, “The Drama,” opens on Friday and features Alana Haim, a musician and actor, alongside Mamoudou Athie and Hailey Gates.

‘Euphoria’ Season 3

After a four-year wait, the hit HBO show “Euphoria” has returned for what is expected to be its last season.

It’s been a turbulent time since the end of Season 2 in 2022. “The Idol” creator, Sam Levinson, faced accusations of running a difficult work environment with long hours and disorganization. A simple ad featuring Sydney Sweeney caused a lot of online debate. Sadly, the “Euphoria” family has also experienced loss, with the deaths of actor Angus Cloud, executive producer Kevin Turen, and actor Eric Dane.

The new season of “Euphoria,” premiering April 12th at 9 p.m. local time, will be quite different from the show that first aired in 2019. The trailers suggest the characters have matured, and Zendaya’s character, Rue, is now in Mexico battling addiction while caught between rival drug organizations. HBO describes the season as following a group of friends as they grapple with questions of faith, forgiveness, and morality.

Zendaya, having won an Emmy for her performance in both the first and second seasons, will be back with her fellow cast members Hunter Schafer, Jacob Elordi (who has been nominated for an Oscar), Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and Sydney Sweeney. Joining them this season are new faces like Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Toby Wallace, Sharon Stone, Rosalia, Danielle Deadwyler, Marshawn Lynch, Natasha Lyonne, and Trisha Paytas.

The Odyssey

Following her work on “Euphoria,” Zendaya is now starring in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film, “The Odyssey,” which is based on the classic story of Odysseus’s journey home.

Okay, so Zendaya is joining the cast as Athena, the Greek goddess who’s looking out for Matt Damon’s Odysseus as he tries to get back to his family. It’s cool seeing her and Tom Holland on the same project, but don’t expect any on-screen romance – unless Christopher Nolan throws a curveball and decides their characters, Odysseus’ son Telemachus (Holland) and Athena (Zendaya), have a little something going on. Honestly, it’s a long shot, but with Nolan, you never know!

Opening in theaters on July 17th, “The Odyssey” stars Zendaya alongside Robert Pattinson, as well as Anne Hathaway, Lupita Nyong’o, and Charlize Theron.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Following the release of “The Odyssey,” Zendaya and Tom Holland will quickly return to their roles as Spider-Man and MJ in “Spider-Man: Brand New Day.” This new film comes nine years after they first shared the screen together in 2017’s “Spider-Man: Homecoming.”

Tom Holland is back as Spider-Man (Peter Parker), but things are complicated. After the events of “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” his girlfriend MJ (Zendaya) and best friend Ned (Jacob Batalon) don’t remember who he is.

The trailer, which came out last month, depicts Peter struggling to rebuild his friendships. He’s upset to discover that MJ is now dating someone else. Like the previous movies, Peter tries to juggle his personal problems with being a superhero, but this time he’ll have help from another Avenger. The trailer shows Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner (the Hulk) mentoring Peter through a difficult and risky physical transformation, and hints at the appearance of several villains, including Jon Bernthal as the Punisher.

Tom Holland will be reprising his role as Spider-Man in the upcoming “Brand New Day” film, and his co-star Zendaya’s stylist, Law Roach, is known for creating striking outfits. Zendaya’s previous “Spider-Man” press tour featured memorable looks, often incorporating web-inspired designs.

I’m really excited for the new Spider-Man movie, “Brand New Day”! It’s being directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who I loved for “Shang-Chi”, and he’s also doing the “Wonder Man” show, so I have high hopes. Plus, the cast is fantastic – Sadie Sink, Tramell Tillman from “Severance”, and Michael Mando are all in it! It hits theaters July 31st.

Dune: Part Three

Zendaya will start and end her year with big projects by reprising her role in “Dune: Part Three,” the third and likely final film in Denis Villeneuve’s acclaimed “Dune” series.

I’m so excited for the new Dune movie! It takes place almost 20 years after the last one, and we finally see Timothée Chalamet’s Paul Atreides fully become the leader the Fremen people believe him to be. Zendaya is back as Chani, but their relationship with Paul has definitely changed. It’s complicated because, in the previous film, Paul had to marry Florence Pugh’s Princess Irulan for political reasons, which meant Chani wasn’t his wife, but rather his concubine. It’s going to be interesting to see how that all plays out!

Last month’s trailer for the new film showed snippets of the continuing romance between Paul and Chani, hinting at a possible child. It also featured intense action sequences, a surprisingly different Robert Pattinson, and new characters played by Isaach De Bankolé (as Farok) and Anya Taylor-Joy (as Paul’s sister, Alia). Familiar faces returning for this installment include Javier Bardem, Rebecca Ferguson, and Jason Momoa.

The third Dune movie arrives in theaters on December 18th, and Zendaya is expected to make appearances with stylish, Dune-inspired outfits leading up to the premiere.

Originally planned for late 2026, the release of “Shrek 5” has been moved to June 30, 2027. The film will feature Zendaya as an ogre.
