Prince William and Princess Catherine reportedly planning festive time with children
As a long-time follower of the British royal family, I must say that the holiday season always brings a special excitement knowing that Prince William and Princess Catherine are making the most out of it with their children. Their commitment to creating memorable experiences for their young ones is truly heartwarming, and it’s fascinating to see how they continue Queen Elizabeth’s traditions while adding their own unique touches.
For several years, Prince William and Kate Middleton have eagerly anticipated the festive season and its delights. As per a recent article in Hello! Magazine, on December 6, Kate Middleton will organize a Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey. It’s expected that this carol service might not be the only event planned for their family, given their past preference for spending time outdoors during the holidays.
A history of making the most out of the holiday season
Lately, William and Kate have been touring various parts of the U.K., providing their kids – Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis – with wonderful experiences. In 2022, this royal family visited Lapland UK in Ascot and enjoyed encounters with reindeer, a toy factory, and a magical forest. It was evident during this visit that Kate, known for her stylish fashion sense, chose a more casual look for the occasion.
Previously, our entire family embarked on a joint quest for a Christmas tree in Berkshire last year. As reported by Hello! Magazine’s source, it was William, Catherine, George, Charlotte, and Louis who selected a tree from Windsor Great Park. Notably, this activity serves as a continuation of an unofficial tradition initiated by Queen Elizabeth herself at one point.
In 2020, the royal family celebrated Christmas at the Sandringham estate. When not indoors, Catherine and her group enjoyed activities like swimming, shopping, and dining at local pubs for lunch. Despite facing criticism due to ongoing health concerns, Prince William and Princess Kate also took their children on a visit to the Luminate festive light trail.
At other instances, Prince William and Princess Kate utilized the holiday period to ready their kids for their roles as working royals. Last year, George, Charlotte, and Louis joined Catherine at a baby bank in Windsor. It was later reported by Hello! that the Princess of Wales chose to bring her young children to the bank after making an earlier visit several months prior. Apparently, the children found the experience enjoyable and were willing to assist whenever needed.
