2021 is wrapping up with some exciting collaborations for KONAMI’s eFootball, including the FC Barcelona 125th Anniversary and Black Friday promotions within the game. But it’s the return of the legendary trio, Messi, Suarez, and Neymar, collectively known as MSN, that’s really catching everyone’s attention. With this iconic team reunited, eFootball 2025 gives fans an opportunity to revisit one of football’s most renowned partnerships. Here’s my take on the Epic FC Barcelona MSN pack!

Over the past several packs, I’ve had bad luck, particularly concerning the Dutch trio. However, I hit a jackpot with the MSN pack, managing to obtain all three players within just 30 spins! Immediately, I trained them up and utilized them in both AI and PvP games. Here are my observations:

In the game, this exceptional card takes the top spot – quite a game-changer, wouldn’t you agree? Being a Barcelona fan, I’d be ready to pull out all stops for such an opportunity to reenact that unforgettable moment, even if the ratings weren’t sky-high. However, this isn’t just any card; Messi is a Tremendous legend here, boasting a Versatile Winger playstyle and a Stunning Free Kick special move – truly endgame material!

In simpler terms, the player’s statistics appear impressive, but there have been doubts regarding his finishing and speed. I experimented with automatic position allocation and didn’t find him slow. His ball control and close possession skills are unrivaled; speed isn’t necessarily a requirement. However, to address concerns about his speed and finishing, I tweaked his attributes by enhancing dribbling points and adding a “Ball-Carrying” booster.

Using the Blitz Curler skill, Messi transforms into a deadly tool for dribbling inward and executing precision shots. His ability to hit the target is astounding, making it relatively simple to curve it once you get accustomed to it. This incarnation of Messi thrives in producing consistent outcomes across diverse playstyles, whether he’s utilized as a winger or an advanced playmaker. Although his physical prowess may not rival that of some stronger cards, it more than suffices due to his exceptional technical skill. In summary, my best card to date.

Luiz Suarez

Card Type: Epic
Position: CF
Playstyle: Goal Poacher

In this team setup, my primary focus was undeniably on Luisito. Having a nimble striker with exceptional speed and excellent ball control, much like Suarez demonstrated during his time at Barca, had always been my dream. This thought made me salivate in anticipation. As expected, the stats may have been toned down, but his in-game performance certainly did not disappoint.

When I tested him out, it was clear as day that he’s an outstanding finisher. Suarez demonstrated time and again his knack for scoring goals in cramped areas, and he’s remarkably swift and accurate with his shots. Just to see if he would feign injury to get some penalties or free kicks, I assigned him Gamesmanship playfully. However, instead of diving for pens or freekicks, he charged forward, creating space, and scored a goal instead.

Currently, what’s bothering me the most is the ineffective Bullet Header. Both Messi and Neymar are skilled at crossing, but Suarez struggles with jumping and heading. However, when he connected a corner kick with his head, that header was both accurate and fast, demonstrating his flair for showmanship. I would have preferred Exceptional Finishing in this instance, but despite that, he excels.

Neymar Jr

Card Type: Epic
Position: LWF
Playstyle: Prolific Winger

Interestingly, Neymar’s card in the pack falls short statistically, lacking the flair one might expect. It seems that the impressive skill set could be reserved for his PSG Card instead. Considering Suarez and Messi’s exceptional finishing abilities, Konami chose to scale back Neymar’s attributes, particularly for a winger. Despite this, his stats are still impressive, with his in-game performance often outperforming the numbers.

In every card we’ve had before, dribbling was never an issue, but this one might be the standout; it boasts exceptional dribbling abilities for flair. It also does well in setting up opportunities with its solid passing skills. The finishing is fair, though there were instances where it missed due to less developed Kicking Power and the lack of a strong First Time Shot skill.

Although his Offensive Awareness falls short of what’s typically expected, Neymar remains one of the elite player cards. The main drawback is the absence of a Showtime skill that might have taken it to even higher levels. However, Neymar’s exceptional skills in dribbling and close control make him highly effective in most attacking situations, making him a strong contender for the top 5 wingers within the game, though not necessarily the best card in this particular pack.

These three cards are top-notch quality, and even though I might not fully understand what an end-game is, having them in good shape definitely gives me an advantage. From my personal experience, the first three cards are fantastic, and if you know how to maximize their abilities, they become essential additions to your collection.

Here’s another way to phrase it: Instead of getting Neymar initially, I went with Neymar first because he was already secured. So, I recommend you select Messi and Suarez as your initial choices, leaving room for more attempts at getting Neymar later on.
