Big Bang Theory writer’s comedy gets UK streaming home

As a seasoned gamer of both virtual and real-life adventures, I can’t help but feel a rush of excitement with the upcoming premieres of not one, but two intriguing series that have piqued my curiosity. The sci-fi thriller, Mrs Davis, with its stellar cast led by Betty Gilpin, has finally found its way across the pond and will grace our screens on ITVX in late November.

The sci-fi series “Mrs. Davis” has secured a broadcast in the UK and will debut on our screens towards the end of November.

Beginning in America back in April 2023, the program is now set to stream in the United Kingdom, marking its long-awaited arrival on our shores. It will premiere on ITVX on November 28.

Presented as a study contrasting belief with innovation, the film “Mrs. Davis” features Betty Gilpin from “GLOW” and Jake McDorman, famously known for his role in “American Sniper.

Gilpin portrays Sister Simone, who was expelled from her cloister and is now on a crusade to dismantle the world’s dominant artificial intelligence, the character called Mrs. Davis.

This series features a highly acclaimed creative crew, comprising of Tara Hernandez, known for her work on The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon, and Damon Lindelof, recognized from Watchmen and Lost, serving both as executive producers and writers.

Black Mirror‘s Owen Harris is behind the camera as well as serving as executive producer.

In another corner of the “Big Bang Theory” cosmos, lead actress Kaley Cuoco has recently secured a new part in the HBO comedy series titled “Kansas City Star“, where she will also serve as an executive producer.

Actress Kaley Cuoco, famously known for her role in the hit series “The Big Bang Theory,” is now cast as a character who comes back to her small-town roots to collaborate with a local theater group. This role will see her playing a semi-famous actress in the upcoming production.

Further information regarding “The Kansas City Star” is still kept confidential, however, given that it’s produced by the esteemed comedy creators Lucia Aniello, Paul W Downs, and Jen Statsky from “Hacks”, expectations are high for its success.

In the United States, you can find Mrs. Davis streaming on Peacock. Starting from November 28, it will be accessible for streaming on ITVX in the UK.

Kansas City Star doesn’t have a release date.
