Ashley Cain reveals he’s having a third child three years after the death of daughter Azaylia: ‘My little girl will soon have another little brother to watch over’
As a compassionate and empathetic observer of Ashley Cole’s life journey, I am deeply moved by his resilience and strength in the face of unimaginable tragedy. The loss of his daughter Azaylia must have been devastating, yet he has managed to channel his grief into something positive through The Azaylia Foundation.
Ashley Cain announced that he’s anticipating the arrival of their third child, which comes three years following the passing of his daughter Azaylia.
In April 2021, at just eight months old, Azaylia – a child welcomed by him with his former partner Safiyya Vorajee (age 36) – sadly lost her life to leukemia.
In January of this year, he welcomed his son Aliyas along with a new companion. Later, he disclosed that their romantic relationship had ended, but they continue to share happiness as coparents.
It’s uncertain if the same woman is carrying Ashley’s upcoming third child. Representatives from Ashley have been reached out to for a comment by TopMob.
On Thursday, Ashley shared on Instagram that he’s going to be a father of a baby boy. He expressed his happiness about this positive development following the hardships he had been through.
Alongside pictures of son Aliyas, he wrote: ‘“Another One” **DJ Khaled Voice**
‘Soon, my daughter will gain a younger sibling to look after, while my son will transition from being an only baby to both a newborn and an older sibling.’
Ashley went on to say: “After all the pain I’ve experienced, it feels wonderful to be able to appreciate the good things in life once more!
Now, I’m off to capture the final episodes for my fresh new series at two locations known for their peril.
For the moment, it’s regretful that we part ways, but I eagerly anticipate our reunion, my dear boys. As for my guardian angel, you’ll always remain by my side as I sense your guidance with each stride I make.
Life often presents us with hurdles, yet it generously offers instances that overflow our hearts with profound happiness. Cheers to the path before us and the remarkable individuals who grace it!
Last month, Ashley revealed the trauma over his daughter Azaylia’s death will ‘never leave’ him.
After her passing, TV personality Ashley has dedicated his time to tackling seemingly insurmountable tasks and shed blood, sweat, and tears in an effort to preserve the memory of his daughter.
On Paul Carrick Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast, Ashley expressed: ‘I don’t think my trauma will vanish from me, and I don’t wish for it to go away because the pain I experience is a testament of love for my daughter.’
In an emotionally charged conversation, Ashley reminisced about the initial moments when he noticed his daughter was unwell and learned she had been diagnosed with cancer.
One day, Safiyya noticed a swollen area on her abdomen that also had a bruise. Upon our call, they advised us immediately to come in. The medical staff drew blood from Azaylia.
The doctors informed us that she has a particularly aggressive form of leukemia called AMR (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). Unfortunately, her chances of surviving are quite low, and the possibility of a cure is relatively slim.
They immediately informed us about it, and we were transferred to Birmingham Children’s Hospital. From then on, that became the course of my life.
Originally, I felt as if I had everything I’d ever dreamed of, but suddenly, my whole world was flipped on its head. I collapsed under the weight of it all. I found it difficult to move, to communicate, even to find the strength to stand.
Initially, Ashley, Safiyya, and Azaylia had arranged a trip to Singapore for specialist leukemia treatment. Unfortunately, due to her poor health condition, doctors advised that Azaylia was not well enough to undertake the journey.
Ashley remembered: ‘The day the consultant informed us that Azalyia’s tumors had returned, and they were now located in her stomach, kidney, spleen, and brain. Unfortunately, she would no longer be able to travel due to this condition, as there was nothing we could do about it.’
The radiation therapy proved excessively severe; it would have been fatal for her. At that moment, they declared there was no more treatment left available.
Initially, I had been wishing for my daughter to overcome cancer. However, at some point, my hope shifted to praying that her passing would be tranquil, and we could be with her during her final moments.
Ashley got emotional when remembering the day Azaylia passed away, expressing, “We kept giving her blood transfusions to keep her stable until she could pass away peacefully.
One morning, we realized it was the right moment, ensuring she was held tightly and I was monitoring the intervals between her breaths until she took no more. That instant is an image I cannot erase from my memory.
Previously known soccer player Ashley and Safiyya collected over 1.5 million pounds for Azaylia’s unique medical care, prior to her passing. Later, they donated any leftover funds to The Azaylia Foundation, an organization dedicated to assisting families and creating unforgettable moments for children battling cancer.
As a proud parent, I’m delighted to share that I’ve recently welcomed a 10-month-old son named Aliyas into my life. Previously, I had the pleasure of discussing our wonderful co-parenting journey with TopMob.
It’s been made clear that although he and Aliyah’s mother, whose identity remains unknown, are no longer a couple, their friendship endures due to mutual love and admiration.
The father explained to TopMob, “We’ll maintain our friendship, and we’ll be joint parents. Our bond is strong, which is why things will continue this way.
It has been wonderful, indeed, to work together so harmoniously, surpassing simple amicability, with our shared focus being the wellbeing of Aliyas.
‘We both have love and respect for each other. And we both just want to be the best parents we can. And not only enjoy our son, but let us and enjoy the most of us and the most of life.
As a devoted follower, I assure you that we are leaving no stone unturned in our efforts. The experience is smooth and effortless, which makes it all the more enjoyable. We prioritize making the most optimal choices, always keeping our dear son’s well-being at heart, and that feels fantastic.
