As an ardent fan of The Block and its vibrant cast, I can’t help but feel a pang of both admiration and a touch of envy upon learning about Marty Fox’s recent property transaction. Here’s a man who, at 21, embarked on his real estate journey, eventually co-founding WHITE FOX Real Estate and making a name for himself as one of the judges on Australia’s beloved renovation series.

The Block judge Marty Fox has off-loaded his country getaway in Victoria for a cool $2.05million.

In 2021, the successful real estate broker along with his wife, Charlotte, acquired a vintage 1950s house located on the Mornington Peninsula for $1.55 million.

As an ardent admirer, I can’t help but share my enthusiasm about this Melbourne-based duo’s transformation of their abode! Rather than settling for the ordinary, they decided to invest substantially in a comprehensive makeover. The end result? A stunning four-bedroom, two-bathroom vacation retreat, just waiting to host travelers seeking a memorable stay.

Right near the charming Safety Beach, I discovered an exquisite property known as Red Hill, which was recently purchased only two months after being listed. This news was shared by The Herald Sun yesterday.

In September, Fox and his spouse disclosed that, owing to their hectic commitments, they could not find the time to visit the getaway; therefore, they decided to put it up for sale.

They have since moved to a large home in the ritzy suburb of Toorak.

While preserving its charming 1950s exterior, this house boasts a contemporary makeover, featuring an outdoor area perfect for entertaining, often referred to as a ‘party spot’ in the backyard.

The thoughtfully arranged layout boasts a spacious living area, complete with an authentic fireplace, that flows seamlessly into a sheltered terrace equipped with a barbecue grill.

There’s also a self-cleaning heated pool surrounded by a timber entertainment deck.

Not only does the house feature two charming fireplaces for warmth and coziness all year round, but it also sports gleaming hardwood floors and elegant plantation shutters.

Meanwhile, the luxurious kitchen features marble detailing, cabinets painted in a soft French blue shade, and a spacious breakfast bar.

Additional amenities encompass a private bedroom-studio, a backyard trampoline set into the ground, and a watering system designed for the extensive garden space, adorned with pear trees.

Marty serves as the CEO for WHITE FOX Real Estate, a company he started alongside his spouse, Charlotte.

Initially, he made an appearance during the previous season of The Block in a semi-regular judging role. However, this time around, he came back to add more excitement to the drama-filled season.

At just 21 years old, I embarked upon my journey in real estate, honing my craft and climbing the ranks. Eventually, I couldn’t resist the entrepreneurial spirit within me any longer, and I founded my very own agency.

Lately, Fox admitted that he attempted to secure approval to make a bid for the 2024 Block auction, as he was particularly captivated by a specific team.

This television season, Fox appeared on Nine’s popular show as a judge, sharing the panel with Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer.

He admitted he tried to get Channel Nine’s permission to submit a bid in the auction but was knocked back.

The judges do not put forward any of their offers of their own.

Instead, Fox expressed his desire to make an offer this year following his admiration for the main bedroom reveal at Courtney and Grant’s residence, which he found particularly appealing.

He told realestate.com.au : ‘So maybe I will have to twist some more arms!’

Although it might appear that the experienced real estate expert is favoring Courtney and Grant, he clarified, differently from past seasons, he couldn’t foresee who would emerge victorious in this competition.

Each time I tune into The Block, I’ve found myself able to predict the winners rather confidently, as I’ve been a judge last year or an auctioneer in previous seasons. However, with this season, it’s become quite challenging to determine who will take the crown.

Ultimately, Maddy and Charlotte emerged victorious as Adrian Portelli invested $3.50 million into their renovation project.
