Is Post Malone headlining Coachella 2025? His newly announced tour dates seem to say so

As a seasoned cinephile who has attended more music festivals than I can count, I must admit that I am thrilled at the prospect of Post Malone headlining Coachella next year. The man has an undeniable knack for blending genres seamlessly, and his recent shift towards country music is a testament to his versatility as an artist.

Headlining Coachella next year? Post Malone could be the guy for that.

The artist famed for hits like “Better Now” and “I Had Some Help” is set to make a comeback at the renowned Inland Empire music festival next year, marking the start of his Big Stadium Tour as revealed on Tuesday. On Instagram, Malone posted his tour itinerary, highlighting performances in Indio on April 13 and 20 as the first dates on the schedule.

The musician-rapper’s latest post didn’t clarify if the initial performances are for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, but it’s significant that those events line up with the last nights of both festival weekends in April: 11th to 13th and 18th to 20th. Notably, TMZ reports that Malone, who performed at Coachella for the first time in 2018, will be among the three headlining acts for next year’s festival.

As a moviegoer eagerly awaiting the big reveal, I must share that the festival’s official lineup remains under wraps at this moment. However, it seems that my fellow musicians Jelly Roll and Sierra Ferrell won’t be accompanying me on stage during our Indio performances in 2025, as they’re set to headline Stagecoach instead.

Neither Malone’s representatives nor the organizers of Coachella Festival promptly provided a response when approached by The Times for verification.

Following his nomination for 17 Grammys, Indio is set to embark on a nationwide tour, visiting locations such as Salt Lake City, Dallas, Atlanta, and Chicago. The tour concludes in California, with a performance scheduled for July 1 at San Francisco’s Oracle Park.

According to reports, Malone’s rumored Coachella dominance would follow his performance in April on the Mane Stage at Stagecoach. During this event, he collaborated with Dwight Yoakam, Sara Evans, and Brad Paisley for a collection of country music renditions.

2015 saw the emergence of the artist popularly known for “Sunflower,” who initially gained recognition as a rapper with his trap song “White Iverson.” He later achieved success with “Congratulations” in 2016. However, he has recently ventured into country music. His debut country album, titled “F-1 Trillion,” was released in August this year. This album, spanning 18 tracks, features collaborations with notable figures in the country music scene such as Morgan Wallen, Tim McGraw, Dolly Parton, and Blake Shelton.
