New clues hint The Wheel of Time season 3 is coming sooner than we thought

As a longtime devotee of all things cinematic, I can confidently say that the anticipation for The Wheel of Time season 3 has been like waiting for the return of a long-lost friend. And just like that friend, it seems they’re finally on their way back! With Josha Stradowski doing press in London and rumors swirling about VFX finishing or almost finished, it feels as if we’re standing at the edge of the proverbial portal, eagerly awaiting the moment when Rand al’Thor and his companions step through into our living rooms once more.

It’s been over a year now since the finale of “The Wheel of Time” season 2 premiered on Amazon Prime Video. Fans have been eagerly waiting for updates regarding season 3, but as of yet, there’s no official word from the creative team, cast, or Amazon. However, hints suggesting that season 3 is on its way are becoming increasingly evident.

The length and type of promotion can vary significantly from one production to another, and we’re unsure about the specific press activities that Stradowski was involved in.

It’s significant that Stradowski is currently doing interviews for The Wheel of Time, as this typically indicates that the third season is about to premiere on Amazon Prime Video. Normally, stars and creators from streaming services like Amazon, Netflix, and others start promotional activities several months prior to a new season’s release. Although he knows the exact date, he was asked not to disclose it yet. Instead, he was allowed to share that the premiere will take place within March.

Jon mentioned that the release of season 3 of “The Wheel of Time” is almost here. He’s been getting consistent information about it being March, with a particular date mentioned as well, coming from various sources.

Based on recent whispers, it seems that the release timeframe aligns with our expectations for the upcoming season of “The Wheel of Time”. Since the second season concluded, we had been anticipating a spring 2025 debut at the earliest. If the latest gossip is true, it appears Amazon Prime Video intends to hold firm to this window.

It seemed concerning to me that we might have to endure a wait until autumn 2025 for the third season of “The Wheel of Time.” Historically, the first two seasons of this series aired during late summer/early fall, and the same goes for the first two seasons of “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power” on Prime Video. It’s possible that fantasy shows have simply been scheduled for fall premieres, or perhaps Prime Video prefers to release them at this time of year. Regardless, it appears that Prime Video could be breaking away from that pattern with the third season of “The Wheel of Time.
