Apple TV+ has built a reputation for high-quality, critically acclaimed shows and movies, focusing on a select few rather than a large quantity of titles. While April brings a good amount of new original content for the service – including the second seasons of two shows, a new movie starring Keanu Reeves, and three new series – it’s still a relatively small selection. Because of this, subscribers will likely want to explore everything that’s been added.
Here’s a complete list of the TV shows and movies premiering on Apple TV+ in April 2026, including their release dates.
Every TV Show Coming to Apple TV+ in April
- Your Friends & Neighbors (Season 2) – Apr. 3: Already renewed for a third season, the John Hamm-led dark comedy follows Andrew “Coop” Cooper, a disgraced hedge fund manager stealing off his neighbors. Those who loved the first seasons can expect the same blend of drama and humor, with new characters and even higher stakes.
- Margo’s Got Money Troubles – Apr. 15: The newest A24 TV show to land on Apple TV+, Margo’s Got Money Troubles follows a single mother, played by Elle Fanning, whose career aspirations as an author fall flat, leading her to other ways to try to get money. She is supported by a phenomenal cast, including Michelle Pfeiffer, Nicole Kidman, and the always hilarious Nick Offerman as Margo’s pro-wrestling father.
- Criminal Record (Season 2) – Apr. 22: Detectives June Lenker (Cush Jumbo) and Daniel Hegarty (Peter Capaldi) reunite for a new case that sees them diving deep into political corruption that unravels a larger conspiracy. The first season of Criminal Record was praised for its tense, character-driven storytelling; with the two on a new, larger case, expect a more explosive season and moral conflict between the two detectives.
- My Brother the Minotaur – Apr. 24: Details for the new animated series have been kept pretty tight, but the show does feature a talented team of animators as creators and a lush visual direction. Our guess is that the show deals with mythology and coming-of-age in a way that will be both poignant and engrossing.
- Widow’s Bay – Apr. 29: Parks and Recreation writer Katie Dippold takes on the role of creator and focuses her talents on a mix of comedy and the macabre. The dark comedy follows Matthew Rhys, the mayor of a town overrun by superstition. Skeptical at first, he is drawn into a series of bizarre and supernatural events that begin to change his perspective and his job.
