Married At First Sight's Lucinda Light announces exciting next career move after sold out UK shows - and the truth about feud with Timothy Smith

As an ardent admirer of Lucinda Light, I find myself absolutely spellbound by her incredible journey since her stint on Married At First Sight earlier this year. This woman is nothing short of a force to be reckoned with! Fresh off sold-out shows across the UK, Scotland, and Ireland, she’s been sharing stories, connecting with people, and leaving an indelible impact everywhere she goes.

Since appearing on Married At First Sight earlier this year, Lucinda Light has embarked on an extraordinary odyssey, firmly establishing herself as someone worth taking seriously.

Following a string of successful sold-out performances in the UK, Scotland, and Ireland, the 43-year-old celebrity has shared insights into her fast-paced career, her conflict with Timothy Smith, and her future endeavors, which include writing a book and launching a new TV series.

‘The last six weeks have been incredible,’ Lucinda told Daily Mail Australia.

For some time now, I’ve been working in Europe on a TV series for Channel 4 UK, which I found incredibly enjoyable. The character they assigned to me felt truly authentic to who I am. Following that, I traveled extensively across the United Kingdom and Ireland, interacting with people, exchanging stories – it’s been an absolute thrill!

Lucinda’s book “Shine Your Light” is scheduled for publication on March 27th, but those expecting juicy details about her time on the popular series might find themselves let down, as it seems she won’t be revealing much about that experience.

In simpler terms, her latest publication serves as a guidebook, designed to assist readers in enhancing their emotional understanding and intelligence.

In simpler terms, Lucinda was explaining that the focus is on empowering individuals, helping them handle their emotions effectively, and providing resources for them to manage life more successfully.

Working with HarperCollins has been an outstanding experience for me, as it allowed me to work on a fantastic project. My passion lies in writing, and I have accumulated a wealth of insights over the years in the self-improvement sector, which I am eager to share.

On top of this, Lucinda has partnered with Intrepid Travel to curate a holistic adventure retreat.

‘We’re unplugging from devices for seven days and immersing ourselves in nature,’ she revealed.

You can expect activities such as meditation, yoga, discussions on emotional intelligence, snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, and sampling delicious local cuisine. The focus is on relaxation, rejuvenation, and fostering connections.

The Feud with Timothy Smith

However, it hasn’t all been smooth sailing for Lucinda.

It seems like Timothy Smith, a previous cast member from MAFS, continues to hold grudges, as he has sent messages and calls that Lucinda needed to block.

As a lifestyle advisor, I frequently find myself fielding questions about an individual named Tim. Despite the anger that seems to radiate from him at times, I hold him in high regard. My home is a welcoming space for him, always open with my arms wide and doors ajar – a testament to my affection for him. However, there are aspects of our relationship that remain unspoken, as I’ve found it challenging to make him understand the depth of my feelings.

Despite their tension, Lucinda remains hopeful for reconciliation.

On Instagram, I’ve previously expressed my apologies. Right now, all I can do is send him wishes for healing and tranquility. I deeply feel the absence of Tim in my life, yet I know he’s hurting, and I can only hope that his pain subsides and doesn’t persist.

Rumours of Jealousy

When questioned about whether her success had stirred feelings of envy among her fellow actors, Lucinda swiftly dismissed the notion.

‘The cast has been fantastic [to my rise to fame]. We’re all celebrating each other,’ she said.

Each individual seems to be pursuing their own interests – Jack Dunkley at the gym, Jayden Eynaud with boxing, Jonathan McCullough and Ellie Dix buying a house. It feels like I’ve found my place, and I’m incredibly thankful that MAFS provided me this opportunity.

Dating and Reality TV Aspirations

Though Lucinda admits dating hasn’t been a priority, she’s open to finding love.

She shared that what she truly desires is a devoted companion, a lifelong partner. However, she feels it’s important to trust the natural course of things. She’s not using dating apps; instead, she seeks a deep emotional bond. Hopefully, in the next year, she plans to make room for this connection.

Regarding reality TV shows, Lucinda exhibits a discerning taste, particularly drawn towards Dancing with the Stars and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!.

As a dedicated follower, those are the two projects I’d be thrilled to work on, whether they take place in the UK or Australia. However, at this moment, my focus is entirely on the Channel 4 show. This isn’t just any reality show; it’s innovative, genuine, and designed to bring out the best in people.

Advice for Future MAFS Stars

Lucinda offered some genuine guidance for potential attendees: “Approach it honestly. Be unapologetically yourself – whether that’s shy, brave, intelligent, or anything else.

Discover who you truly are, remain steadfast, and get ready to work hard. At the same time, show compassion – towards yourself and others. This journey might be chaotic, but it has the potential to become a remarkable exploration of humanity if you allow it.

Lucinda, with her boundless vigor, innovative ideas, and relentless determination, continues to outshine in a spectacular manner. It’s clear that her best work is yet to come.
