First look at Tom Hardy in new Netflix action movie Havoc
As a die-hard fan of action-packed thrillers and Tom Hardy‘s captivating performances, I can hardly contain my excitement for “Havoc”! With Gareth Evans, the genius behind “Gangs of London,” at the helm, this film promises to be a masterpiece. The image released by Netflix showcases Hardy in all his gritty glory, brandishing a gun with an intensity that leaves me breathless.
As a gaming enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that I’ve caught a sneak peek of the action-packed movie “Havoc,” starring none other than Tom Hardy. This gripping thriller is the brainchild of Gareth Evans, who you might recognize as one of the masterminds behind “Gangs of London.” Can’t wait to see it unfold!
Originally released in 2021, this movie casts the actor known for his role in “Venom” as a detective on a mission to save a kidnapped politician’s son following a failed drug transaction. As he delves deeper into the case, he stumbles upon underlying corruption and intricate conspiracies.
The image unveiled by the streamer sees Hardy as protagonist Walker as he brandishes a gun.
According to writer-director Evans, expect a high-octane, swift-moving action-thriller that draws inspiration from Hong Kong cinema, as reported by Empire.
Regarding the movie titled “Havoc”, where I starred alongside Tom Hardy, we certainly don’t hold back when it comes to delivering high-octane action scenes.
The main point here is its primary focus, but when it comes to Tom, there’s an exceptional physical portrayal at the core, and his character is particularly rich and nuanced. He has a lot of depth hidden beneath the surface.
The movie, jointly produced by Hardy, features Xelia Mendes-Jones from “Fallout”, Timothy Olyphant known for “The Mandalorian”, Jessie Mei Li from “Shadow and Bone”, Oscar laureate Forest Whitaker, Luis Guzmań of “Wednesday”, and Justin Cornwell, famously recognized in “Training Day”.
They will be joined by Yeo Yann Yann, Quelin Sepulveda, Sunny Pang and Michelle Waterson.
Havoc is set for a 2025 release on Netflix, though an exact date is yet to be announced.
Lately, Hardy has taken up the role of narrator for Paramount+’s three-part documentary titled “Special Forces: Most Daring Missions”, and additionally serves as an executive producer for the project.
This program offers a behind-the-scenes look at actual missions carried out by top-tier military units, with a primary focus on the Special Air Service (SAS) and their actions in significant events like the 1980 Iranian Embassy standoff, among others.
As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but share some exciting news about my favorite TV series, Peaky Blinders. Guess who might be popping up again in the much-anticipated Netflix movie? You got it – Alfie Solomons! Here’s the scoop: “100% certain that Alfie will make an appearance, but I don’t have a clue about the timeline yet…” So, fingers crossed we’ll see more of Alfie soon!
Havoc is released on Netflix in 2025.
