Eugene Mirman, the comedian and voice of Gene Belcher on the popular animated show Bob’s Burgers, was seriously injured in a car accident. He’s currently in the hospital receiving treatment.
According to TMZ, comedian Harris Mirman was rescued from a burning car after a crash in Bedford, New Hampshire on Tuesday. His 2026 Lucid Gravity collided with the Bedford Toll Plaza and then caught fire. A State Trooper, New Hampshire Governor Kelly Ayotte, and other bystanders helped pull the 51-year-old from the vehicle before it was fully engulfed in flames. Mirman was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, the details of which haven’t been released.
Honestly, watching those people jump in to help pull Mirman from that burning car? It was incredible. As Colonel Hall put it, they didn’t even think twice – they just immediately put themselves at risk to help someone who really needed it. Total heroes, if you ask me.
