Harry Floyd and Tess Brookman, who found love on the reality show Farmer Wants A Wife, are engaged after four years together.
This week, the couple announced their engagement on social media with a sweet post. The photo showed them hugging, and Tess proudly displayed her stunning diamond ring to their followers.
Tess’s engagement ring is stunning – a beautiful gold band featuring three sparkling, uniquely cut diamonds.
Oh my gosh, seeing them together at Harry’s farm was EVERYTHING! They just looked so genuinely happy and radiant, posing for pictures like it was the most natural thing in the world. It was pure joy to witness, honestly – a perfect moment out in the Victorian countryside!
Harry shared adorable photos and announced their engagement with a heartfelt message: ‘Four years in the making. She said yes!’
“This is fantastic news, and long overdue! It was clear to everyone that you two were meant to be together,” someone exclaimed.
‘Obsessed with you both. The MOST exciting news,’ a second added.
‘Yayyyy congratulations guys, so exciting,’ a third chimed in.
Harry, 27, and Tess, 26, met and fell in love while filming a show in 2022. A year later, they announced they were planning to have a family.
The couple plans to move from the Gold Coast to Victoria so they can be near family before starting a family of their own.
Tess explained to Now to Love that Harry’s family farm is where her family is also located, so it’s a natural fit.
We’re definitely aiming for that in the future. Right now, though, we’re both still young and focused on gaining experience and enjoying life’s adventures, she explained.
Harry was glad to move on from the busy lifestyle of the Gold Coast, even though he had enjoyed spending several months living there with Tess.
‘I’m forever grateful to the show for bringing us together. But I’ve missed the quiet,’ he said.
Back in October 2022, dairy farmer Harry found love with Tess during the show’s finale.
He had previously shared that he’d moved from his family’s farm in Victoria to the Gold Coast to live with his girlfriend while she finished college. They lived there together for several months.
I didn’t make this decision easily, but I realized you only live once, and I wanted to travel and experience more of the world,” Harry explained to Woman’s Day.
Harry confessed his love for Tess during the FWAW finale.
He faced the ultimate choice between his feelings for Tess and Bronte Dunne.
Harry was hesitant about whether a relationship could work with Tess, who was so different from him, but he couldn’t ignore the strong connection they shared.
He told Tess that meeting her confirmed what he already knew he wanted in a partner – she seemed to have everything he was looking for in someone to spend his life with. He confessed his love and told her he wanted to be with her, much to her happiness.
