Teddi Mellencamp and lover Simon Schroeder’s ‘wife’ have VERY awkward run-in amid affair drama

On Thursday, Teddi Mellencamp experienced a rather uncomfortable encounter with the ex-wife of her horse trainer boyfriend, during the ongoing turmoil of their affair situation.
43-year-old ex-star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, previously married to Edwin Arroyave for 13 years, declared their separation this month. They have three children together.
As a diehard fan, I couldn’t help but follow the shocking revelation that unfolded on DailyMail.com about John Mellencamp: it turns out he had an affair with Simon Schröeder, which led his then-wife Karli Postel to file for nullification of their marriage, as it was discovered that Mellencamp was already legally wed to someone else! Amidst this whirlwind of news, I found myself drawn to the Las Vegas National Horse Show at South Point Arena and Equestrian Center, where both Karli Postel and John Mellencamp were in attendance.
At the event, Mellencamp cheered on her daughter Slate, who was taking part, and Postel was among those who joined the competition as well.
The television personality appeared tense during her seat-time in the grandstands, while Postel displayed an expression reminiscent of a storm cloud as she observed the equestrians from mere feet distant.

In documents submitted to Ventura Superior Court in January 2023, it was disclosed that Karli argued bigamy as the grounds for annulling their marriage, claiming its legality was questionable.
They wed on November 18 2019.
On November 6, 2023, a Revised Application for Annulment of Marriage was submitted by Postel. In this application, she checked the box indicating ‘a prior marriage or domestic partnership’ as the basis for seeking the annulment.
The court order to annul their marriage was issued on February 29, 2024. At this point, it remains unclear who Simon was wedded to.
Mellencamp and Schroeder carried on their relationship following the annulment of their previous marriage, yet during this time, Postel was expecting their second child, due approximately in May 2024.
Subsequently, a source revealed to DailyMail.com that the celebrity and Schroeder had allegedly been secretly involved romantically while their respective partners were unaware, prior to her filing for divorce.
To compound their troubles, Schroeder and his partner were in Florida as Karli, who was expecting, went into labor with their second child in California.
According to the source, Karli found it unusual that her spouse was in Florida during the time she went into labor.
‘When Simon returned, Karli found text messages on Simon’s phone that exposed the affair.’

The source claims that Teddi decided to file for divorce once she got caught in the affair.
She initiated the divorce proceedings against Edwin, ensuring he couldn’t do the same and potentially blame her for infidelity. However, it’s important to note that rumors suggest the marriage disintegrated due to Edwin’s unfaithfulness; in reality, it was Teddi who was untrue.
Schroeder, an expert in horse jumping, has been tutoring Mellencamp’s steed, affectionately known as ‘Toad,’ in jumping techniques.
On May 29, his wife congratulated her husband and Mellencamp on Toad’s success at a horse show.

On May 31st, I couldn’t help but express my admiration for Schroeder, all while I was astride Toad at the Devon Horse Show, coincidentally around the time his wife welcomed a new family member into their lives.

Postel also said no comment, while Schröeder refused to comment when contacted.
In the midst of our challenging separation, there seem to be disagreements arising between me and my spouse regarding spousal support, as per recent reports. (Mellencamp and Arroyave are used as examples)
On a Friday, Arroyave submitted his reaction to Mellencamp’s divorce application, and it’s said that he’s challenging her demands for child custody and alimony.
In his divorce proceedings filed last week and publicly announced on November 2nd, Mellencamp proposed that he be granted primary custody of their three children: Slate (12 years old), Cruz (10 years old), and Dove (4 years old). He also requested that Arroyave should have reasonable and regular visitation rights.
As per legal papers, Arroyave is challenging for shared physical and legal guardianship of their underage kids.
Additionally, it was disclosed in recent court papers that their prenuptial agreement is something he intends for the court to uphold, as they are on the verge of divorce.
Instead of his stance, he disagreed with her petition for him to offer post-marital maintenance and to prevent the court from granting Arroyave any further alimony.
In Arroyave’s appeal, he proposed that Mellencamp should assume the responsibility of providing spousal support, and he further sought for the court to end any future possibility of granting her such support.
In his statement, he referred to the terms of their prenuptial agreement, which outline the specifics about the financial support one spouse is to provide the other following their marriage.
Additionally, Arroyave verified both names to cover the lawyer’s fees once Mellencamp demanded that Arroyave handle all the legal expenses single-handedly.
Additionally, Arroyave stated that the prenuptial agreement outlined that each individual’s personal assets, earnings derived from all sources, and individual debts were to be regarded as separate property. However, any shared assets or obligations specified within the document would not fall under this category.
Instead of what’s stated in the reality star’s documents, Arroyave declared that their separation occurred on November 1, but according to Mellencamp, they actually parted ways on October 20.
Mellencamp is the daughter of famed singer-songwriter John Mellencamp.
In 2017, she rose to prominence following her appearance on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. For three consecutive seasons, she was a regular cast member until ultimately being let go from the show.
