Major US popstar teams up with ITV for a special one-off concert show ahead of their HUGE Australian tour
As an ardent fan of Katy Perry since her breakout days with “I Kissed A Girl,” I can hardly contain my excitement! Her upcoming one-off concert in London and the expanded Australian tour dates are like sweet, sweet manna from heaven for me. You see, I’ve followed Katy through thick and thin, from her humble beginnings on the Christian music circuit to her meteoric rise as a pop sensation.
Katy Perry has teamed up with ITV for a special one-off concert show.
40-year-old American pop sensation is set to perform a variety of her iconic songs such as Firework, Roar, and I Kissed A Girl along with unique versions from her new album titled 143.
Katy Perry’s “Night Of A Lifetime” television event is scheduled to be broadcast later this year. The special, which will run for approximately 90 minutes, will be filmed next month at the iconic Central Hall Westminster in London, where Katy will perform.
The event is expected to be a glamorous gathering, as numerous celebrities will join Katy on stage and a prestigious group of spectators will attend.
Discussing the forthcoming event, Katy expressed her excitement, stating that she can’t wait to redesign Central Hall Westminster into a trendy and comfortable setting for an enchanting evening especially for her British fans.
I am eagerly anticipating my return to London, a place dear to me, for an unforgettable, intimate dance event that promises to be extraordinary.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share that Katie Rawcliffe, our esteemed Head of Entertainment Commissioning at ITV, stated: ‘Katy, renowned as one of the globe’s most prominent artists, is joining us in the UK to create an extraordinary special, especially tailored for ITV and ITVX. We are beyond ecstatic about this collaboration!’
As a devoted fan, I can assure you that this evening promises to be an unforgettable one, filled with timeless classics that resonate deeply within us. It would be a regret if you were to miss out on this extraordinary event.
After the artist famed for her “Roar” hits revealed it on social media, additional concerts have been added to her growing 2025 Australian Lifetimes tour, generating much anticipation.
Last month she shared an updated image of her Down Under tour poster to Instagram.
It was disclosed that three more shows have been scheduled, and it’s Perth, Adelaide, and Melbourne who get to enjoy an additional performance by the Teenage Dream sensation.
Initially, the tour only consisted of a single performance in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. However, two additional shows have been scheduled for Sydney and Brisbane.
After copping some backlash from Adelaide fans, Katy then added a show in the City of Churches.
Such was the demand for Katy in Adelaide, the singer was prompted to add two extra shows.
After they sold out, Katy added a fourth Adelaide date in the latest announcement.
Katy said that the new dates would be the final added to her anticipated 2025 tour.
‘I love you for life, Oz,’ Katy wrote.
It seems that the appreciation is reciprocal, since Katy’s Adelaide fans promptly expressed their gratitude towards her for bestowing the city with lots of pop affection.
‘Adelaide will legit never forget this we love YOU for lifetimes,’ one fan excitedly quipped.
Adding to the sentiment, another fan chimed in with: ‘Hopefully this shows other artists that Adelaide IS A PLACE TO TOUR.’
Considering Katy’s strong affection for Australia, a fan playfully proposed that she should take the plunge and relocate permanently to the land of kangaroos (Down Under).
‘Babe you may as well live here at this point,’ they wrote. ‘We love you.’
As a lifestyle connoisseur, let me share an exciting piece of news: beginning June 9 and 10, I’ll be starting my Lifetimes tour at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney! After that electrifying start, I’ll be moving on to Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on June 12 and 13, followed by another performance on the 14th. Don’t miss out on these unforgettable shows!
On June 17 and 18, she’s scheduled to perform at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre, followed by shows at the RAC Arena in Perth on June 22 and 23.
The tour concludes with a four-day engagement at the Adelaide Entertainment Center, running from June 26th to June 30th.
The announcement follows the impressive performance by Katy at the AFL Grand Final show held at the MCG in Melbourne, which left the audience amazed.
She was reportedly paid a staggering $5million to put on a pre-game performance at the final.
