As a hardcore gamer with a soft spot for mobile gaming, I must say that the 2024 edition of G-STAR has truly outdone itself! The lineup of mobile games showcased this year is nothing short of spectacular, and I can hardly contain my excitement.


The 2024 edition of G-STAR has arrived, featuring one of Korea’s largest video game trade and consumer events. This year’s event is packed with exciting new games to explore and get excited about. Here, we will focus on the mobile gaming announcements made at G-STAR 2024.

List of Mobile Games showcased in G-STAR 2024

The upcoming event promises some eagerly awaited game releases, ranging from immersive console Open World RPGs to groundbreaking Sci-Fi MMORPGs. Several titles are expected to make their first appearance. I’ll share any new games that come up.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

Title “The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin” by Netmarble has unveiled its gameplay trailer again, which was also presented last year at the GDC 2023. This latest reveal gives us a glimpse of the open-world in the game, and it certainly appears lively. The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is being developed for Console, PC, and mobile platforms, with an anticipated release in 2025.

MONGIL: STAR DIVE

2025 finds me eagerly anticipating the launch of “MONGIL: STAR DIVE” by Netmarble, a cross-platform action RPG sequel to “Monster Taming”. This upcoming title promises stunning graphics powered by Unreal Engine 5 and an immersive narrative that I can’t wait to dive into. As Verna or Cloud, I’ll be embarking on guild missions across a vibrant cosmos teeming with intriguing characters and exhilarating adventures. Can’t wait to get my hands on this one!

Game Of Thrones: Kingsroad

At the event, the open-world RPG version based on the hit American TV show “Game of Thrones,” called “Game Of Thrones: Kingsroad,” was another standout. This game was first revealed in November 2022, and a teaser was also presented at that time. Similar to “The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin,” we were shown the spectacular trailer for this upcoming title, which is scheduled to release in 2025 on both PC and mobile platforms.

Project Overkill

Title of the ARPG, “Project: Overkill,” developed by Neople (a subsidiary of Nexon), is set to release on mobile devices. The game’s trailer offers a sneak peek into its features, promising a 3D side-scrolling action experience that leverages the popular IP from Dungeon & Fighter.

GENSEI ONLINE

A fresh exhibit unveiled by Nexon was the new casual RPG titled GENSEI ONLINE. This game is a modern take on the beloved Fantasy Fighter franchise, featuring an old-school art style for graphics. The engaging combat system recently developed promises quick-paced action. Additionally, it seems to provide a range of content such as field bosses, bounty dungeons, and raids, in addition to original elements like martial arts competitions and mini-games.

Architect: Land of Exile

It wouldn’t be incorrect to say this is another thrilling sneak peek. Architect, an MMORPG, boasts a vast, open world crafted using Unreal Engine 5 graphics. Players can traverse this expansive landscape via flying, swimming, and rock climbing, adding layers to the experience. The game combines intense combat dynamics with a captivating narrative, starting with the enigmatic tale of the Assassin character. At the event, an in-game trailer offering glimpses into its grand world and engaging gameplay was unveiled.
