As I delve deeper into this heartwarming tale, it is evident that both Joan and Chock have embarked upon an extraordinary journey, one that is not only a testament to their resilience but also a beacon of hope for those who may feel that love has passed them by. Their shared experiences and the wisdom gleaned from life’s trials have brought them together in a way that transcends age and circumstance.

On the final episode of The Golden Bachelorette, broadcasted on Wednesday, Joan Vassos proudly displayed an impressive diamond engagement ring from Chock Chapple.

On the after show, they mentioned that the stunning rock was crafted by Hollywood jeweler Neil Lane, under his Couture label.

DailyMail.com has learned that the bling costs around $80,000.

As reported by The Diamond Bank in Los Angeles, the size of the central gemstone justifies its expensive cost.

A representative noted, ‘In the center, there’s a sizeable emerald-shaped gemstone, and on either side, you’ll find two gracefully tapering diamond baguettes.’

‘That adds up to a lot of carats and a high price,’ it was added.

In a heartwarming moment, Vassos revealed the ring following Chapple, who like him is 61, getting down on one knee. This took place on the sandy shores of Bora Bora. After she agreed, they both expressed their love for each other repeatedly.

The duo intends to migrate to New York City, as he pledged in the final episode that they would be able to transfer there.

They plan to throw a grand engagement celebration in Los Angeles, followed by a move to the East Coast afterwards.

In their first interview, Chock shared with Us Weekly that the upcoming event will surpass many typical weddings in size.

As a passionate admirer, I can’t contain my enthusiasm! Friends are traveling here from various corners of the nation, and this event seems to be serving as our grand debut as a duo. Needless to say, anticipation is running high!

They soon will be apartment hunting in New York City, the site added.

Originating from Maryland, Vassos had managed to whittle the initial 24 competitors to just two: Chock and the 66-year-old Guy Gansert, as they prepared for the final round of competition.

She vowed not to express her love verbally until the conclusion of her voyage, a promise she kept during the final episode.

In my role as a lifestyle guide, I found myself eagerly anticipating double dates with Chock and Guy, two individuals who were set to meet my cherished son and daughter, as well as their respective partners.

Instead, it was following their initial date that Joan took some time to decide, which unfortunately left the other potential partner feeling forlorn.

She ultimately chose Chock after his final date with her, telling Guy the next day that her, ‘heart belonged to someone else.’

He shared with her that he’d decided to reveal to her children, during their conversation, that he’d developed feelings for her, and subsequently proposed to her by getting down on one knee.

Guy replied with a sigh, acknowledging, “I truly believed something like this would occur, but it seems our roles in each other’s lives will remain constant.

In the moment of confession, the guy expressed, “I’m about to reveal everything. I was prepared,” while Joan acknowledged, “I can’t help but feel intensely guilty.

“When I arrived, he was overjoyed to see me. I value kindness above all else. Navigating this situation is challenging, but emotions can’t be controlled artificially; mine are devoted to Chock,” Joan explained.

Guy was clearly heartbroken, though there was no animosity, as he met with Joan during the live finale before Chock proposed to Joan.

During the live finale segment, Chock confessed to co-host Jesse Palmer that reliving the event was a hazy experience, and rewatching it brought about a painful emotional response. However, he also emphasized that the experience taught him something valuable.

He expressed that he hadn’t anticipated experiencing deep feelings of love once more at this stage in his life, but as it turned out, he did. He is confident that he will be able to experience true love again.

Joan emerged, having not been seen by Guy for several months. As they greeted each other with a warm embrace, he expressed, “Everything is going well.

He insisted that everything he told her, ‘came from the heart,’ and asked if there was something ‘missing’ that he didn’t anticipate.

She explained, “Quite the opposite of what I expected. I never believed I could develop deep feelings for multiple individuals. As you put it, it was a gradual process, and I was moving towards you, but ultimately, it boils down to timing issues.

She also mentioned that he was truly remarkable, radiating love, and consistently showing kindness.

She found it extremely difficult at the parting to bid farewell to you as in any other circumstance, I would have stayed with you due to the extended time we could have spent together. She expressed her longing for your presence and hoped that friendship between them would endure. Additionally, she hinted at a future where they might be going on double dates together.

Later on, they revealed the climactic scenes of the program, which depicted Chock preparing for a proposal, clearly anxious because she hadn’t yet confessed her feelings for him by saying “I love you.

Joan said, “Our lives demonstrate that no matter the challenges life presents, there’s always hope, even at our advanced years.

In a breathtaking setting, she chose this particular moment to express her feelings and say, “I’ve been wanting to tell you for a while now – I am deeply in love with you.” She continued, “And I hope to share the remainder of my life with you,” which filled Chock with joy.

Chock assured Joan, “You’ll always stand out to me. I want to make it clear to you each and every day that I love you. That’s my promise.

Gazing into those stunning orbs leaves me dumbfounded, as if this moment might just be an illusion that’ll vanish once I awaken. Yet, Joan, it’s not a dream – it’s reality. I adore you and yearn for you to remain an integral part of my existence.

Joan shared later on that about a year and half back, she realized she wanted love once more in her existence. She mentioned that from their very initial date, she could envision a future together with him.

Joan expressed, “I’ve had a sense that we can look out for each other and I trust you won’t harm me. We stand as evidence that no matter the challenges life presents, there’s always hope, even at our stage in life. It’s here, in this beautiful setting, that I finally reveal my feelings: I love you deeply and want to share the remainder of my life with you.

Chock kissed her.

‘I have a question for you,’ Chock said. ‘Joan would you marry me?’

‘Of course I’ll marry you,’ Joan said.

Joan then picked up the final rose and asked if he would accept it.

‘Absolutely with all my love,’ Chock said.

Joan then called her mother and showed her Chock and said he was her fiancé.

‘I’m the luckiest guy in the world,’ Chock said.

Chock and Joan then rode off on a boat kissing each other.

After that, the joyful pair was presented to the live spectators, where Joan displayed the engagement ring to Jesse Palmer.

As a lifestyle enthusiast, I couldn’t help but add an unexpected touch to the celebration. So, I went ahead and arranged for Joan, Chock, and their beloved families to embark on an unforgettable adventure at none other than Disney World, Florida!

As an over-the-moon fan, I couldn’t help but feel my heart race when they unveiled a tantalizing glimpse into the upcoming season of The Bachelor, with none other than Grant Ellis present! In the crowd, he whispered, “Joan and Chock are truly an inspiration.

Grant’s season of The Bachelor debuts January 27 on ABC.
