eFootball 2025: A guide to understanding Player Skill Training Program

As a seasoned gamer who’s been through numerous mobile gaming adventures, I can confidently say that this guide is a godsend for fellow enthusiasts like myself. The ability to customize our Dream Team with unique skills, thanks to the expanded skill system, adds a whole new layer of excitement to the game.

In simple terms, KONAMI’s eFootball 2025 stands out as one of the top mobile football games available today. With recent updates, we’ve seen exciting new features like Co-op Mode and My League being introduced, which have increased the value for both players and managers. Many aspects added to the game significantly improve the overall experience. One such addition is the Skill Training program designed to help players upgrade their skills within eFootball 2025.

In this article, we’ll delve into the mechanics of the Skill Training feature as it pertains to a player within the game eFootball 2025. Here, I will clarify the specifics of the Player Skill Training Program and guide you through its execution in the game.

Player Skill Training Program in eFootball 2025

Overview

In the update for Season 4 of eFootball 2023, a well-liked system from the PES series made its return. I recall this feature being quite enjoyable along with Position Boosters, although unfortunately, we no longer have them available. Moving on to the PES series, the skill token was exclusively used for players possessing 9 or fewer skills, and each player could only be trained with one token at a time. The skill could be replaced, and tokens were generously distributed.

In this latest update, there’s a significant shift in the system that grants each team member an extra five skill slots, bringing the total possible skills per player to fifteen. You now have the flexibility to swap out and reassign existing skills as well. I find this new system appealing because previously, we were limited to a maximum of ten skills for each player.

However, players will not be able to do more than 5 additional skills, even if a player has 9 skills out of 10. After allocation, you can also read the description of the sill by pressing the info button on the right.

Performing Skill Training on a player

You can perform skill training by following simple steps.

  • Go to the My Team to access your players.
  • Pick a player of your choice and select Skill Training. It will take you to the player’s skill menu.

  • In the additional skill section, there is a New Player Skill option, which allocates a new skill for the player. You can also check the details of all the skills in the Skill List option.
  • On the top right side, you can see the number of Skill Training tokens remaining. Next, perform the skill training and skill will be allocated.

This system randomly selects options, yet allows you to replace a specific item for a player by undergoing a skill-learning process that replaces the current selection.

An alternate way to perform Skill Training

The method described earlier is the primary approach for skill training, but there’s a potential downside: you might unintentionally exhaust your allotted actions if you don’t achieve the intended skill maneuvers. For instance, a forward learning a defender’s move may not benefit them significantly, making it an inefficient use of the training session.

Step 1: Purchase a no-skill player

Here’s another approach I’d like to share, which I think could be more efficient in conserving your valuable skill points. Instead of using them haphazardly, you might want to consider this alternative strategy for allocating your skill tokens.

  • Go to the Contract section on your Dream Team homepage.
  • Select Standard Player List in the section. The player list will be displayed here.
  • Now you have to check for those players who do not have any skills. Mainly, the lower-rated players do not have any.

  • For sorting them, click on Sort, and in the menu, check for Price. Before clicking it, select the arrow on the right facing upwards to sort it in ascending order.
  • The list will now display the free players. Most of the top ones are those who do not have any skills.
  • Purchase the player of your choice and return to the Home Screen.

When buying a player, it’s crucial to pay attention to his role on the team. For instance, if your goal is to hone a Center Forward with specific abilities, select a player who plays as a forward. This action boosts the likelihood of acquiring a skill beneficial for forwards. Subsequently, consider assigning a skill point or just one to improve him, but doing so will prevent redundancy in skills.

Step 2: Performing the Legacy Transfer

The subsequent action involves carrying out the steps of the Legacy Transfer process. Note that since no points are being transferred, you may opt for a player who has already reached the maximum level (no trending or Player of the Week players).

  • Go to the My Team to access your players.
  • Pick a player of your choice and click on Legacy Transfer. Remember, this player will be the one who is going to inherit the skill.
  • If the selected player is leveled up, only the players who have additional skills will show up. Select the player for the transfer.
  • After selecting, you go to the overview page of the player. Click Confirm to move to the next page.

  • You can see his additional skills listed along with other details in this section. Do a final confirmation if this is the case.
  • Click Transfer to finalize the Legacy Transfer procedure. The skill will be moved to the desired player and the free player will be disappeared.

As a gamer, I’d put it this way: “Stashing your skill tokens is beneficial because it prevents their unnecessary use. However, transferring them requires a good chunk of GP which can be challenging for beginners. The effectiveness of this depends on how you approach the game’s system. My advice? Hang onto your tokens as the game evolves, and save up for those Epic and Big Time cards. They’re the top-tier picks that’ll boost your gaming experience!
