AFL WAG Bridget Hustwaite set to co-host 2024 ARIA Awards in Sydney

As a die-hard fan of Australian music and a connoisseur of red carpet fashion, I can hardly contain my excitement for this year’s ARIA Awards! With the fabulous Bridget Hustwaite set to co-host alongside Nova FM’s Tim Blackwell, Latifa Tee, Christian Wilkins, and Rhys Nicholson, it promises to be a night of unparalleled star power.

Previously a host at Triple J radio, Bridget Hustwaite – who’s also known as an AFL WAG – will share hosting duties for the upcoming ARIA Awards event taking place in Sydney on Wednesday evening. She aims to create a memorable impact by donning a stunning custom-made dress.

34-year-old music expert, currently dating Oscar McDonald, a 28-year-old Dockers star, is poised to dazzle at the Hordern Pavilion, wearing a stunning emerald green dress designed by Perth-based Blanc Bridal.

The stunning dress is based on a similar gown that fellow Dockers WAG Julia Edwards wore to the Brownlow Medal earlier this year, but will be changed from peach to green.

The outfit is prepared to dazzle, much like her one-of-a-kind pink gown with ruffles did, when she appeared last year at the ARIA Awards.

Bridget shared with Perth Now her eagerness for donning the distinctive dress, stating, “This color is this year’s trend!

Last year represented my “hot pink moment,” a time when I required something bold. So, it seemed fitting that I’d choose another favorite color of mine – green, for the current situation.

Since I’ll be conducting interviews with artists both on the red carpet and backstage, it’s crucial that my outfit stands out visually on camera. Upon seeing the array of color choices, this particular shade of green immediately caught my attention.

I had faith they would design something lively and dynamic, reflecting my character and embodying the spirit of the music world.

She added he was most looking forward to seeing one iconic Aussie singer perform on the night.

‘I’m a massive Missy Higgins fan so it will be very special witnessing her Hall of Fame induction. I’ll probably cry when she performs.’

2022 saw Bridget disclose her plans to move to Perth, where she’ll reside with her AFL star partner, Oscar McDonald.

As I buzz with anticipation, it’s almost like embarking on a thrilling journey – a fresh, invigorating experience that promises to be a delightful shift in perspective. I shared this sentiment with Perth Now.

Elsewhere, Nova FM’s Tim Blackwell has been named the host for the 2024 ARIA Awards.

As your go-to lifestyle guru, I’m excited to share that I will be gracing the airwaves alongside an exceptional quartet for our nation’s grandest music event. Bridget Hustwaite, Latifa Tee, Christian Wilkins, and Rhys Nicholson are my esteemed co-hosts, forming a stellar team ready to steer Australian music’s biggest night.

Blackwell, a regular on the afternoon program hosted by Ricki-Lee, Tim, and Joel on Nova, has been among Australia’s leading radio broadcasters since 2001.

2019’s nominees encompass some of Australia’s most prominent figures and up-and-coming artists, with pop sensation Kylie Minogue receiving a total of five nominations, such as Album of the Year and Best Solo Artist for her successful album Tension.
