As someone who has spent a significant portion of my life immersed in the ever-changing world of music and entertainment, I find myself deeply intrigued by this latest development involving Kanye West. The man never fails to keep us on our toes!

A collective of Memphis-based rappers is filing a lawsuit against Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign, alleging they copied their work without permission.

On Wednesday, according to TMZ’s report, Vanda Watkins (also known as Criminal Manne), Hayward Ivy (also known as DJ Squeeky), and the estate of the late rapper Kilo G collectively filed a lawsuit against West, who is 47 years old, and his collaborator, aged 42.

It is alleged that the track ‘Fuk Sumn’ on the album Vultures 1 uses their original work, but they haven’t been given the deserved recognition or payment for it.

Released in March, the song begins with a country rap sample before the beat drops.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m here to shed light on an interesting development. It appears that certain individuals, also known as the plaintiffs, are claiming that Kanye West, who is about to release a new album under his Yeezy imprint, used their unique vocal expressions without obtaining proper consent.

It’s claimed they tried to negotiate sample clearances for their album, using Alien Music services, back in March, just before its scheduled release.

Nevertheless, talks were temporarily halted by the West team in June due to several executives from his Yeezy company departing.

The song in question is ‘Drank a Yak (Part 2)’ by DJ Squeeky. Criminal Manne alleges that it’s his voice at the beginning of ‘Fuk Sumn’, where he says, ‘I’m smoking something, with my friends drinking Olde English.’

As a die-hard fanboy, I can’t help but geek out over the fact that Kilo G’s vibe was later echoed in those lyrics: “Let’s make a pit stop at the liquor store, grab my yak, and then we’re off to the indo.” It’s like his essence seeped into the rhythm and rhymes of that track!

The plaintiffs are requesting damages.

This year, the Chicago-based rapper released collaborative albums titled “Vultures 1” and “Vultures 2,” alongside Ty Dolla $ign.

The renowned Hip Hop artist is set to drop a fresh album soon. Titled “Bully”, it’s his first solo project in more than three years.

As a devoted fan, I’ve eagerly seized the opportunity to secure my pre-ordered copy of West’s forthcoming album, following his gripping reveal of its haunting cover art back in October.

The cover image, captured by 86-year-old Japanese photographer Daidō Moriyama, features a partially obscured model’s grille reminiscent of a design element inspired by the rapper-designer’s $850K titanium teeth he had commissioned in January.

The celebrity declared that their new album can now be pre-ordered, and they’ve also launched merchandise in anticipation of the album. Among the items available are a selection of T-shirts, some in black and others in white.

Fans can choose from T-shirts with either a picture of the cover or the title ‘Bully’.

They hired a dentist from Beverly Hills named Thomas Connelly and an expert dental technician named Naoki Hayashi to design an innovative, costly mouthguard modeled after the famous villain, Jaws, from the James Bond series.

It was reported by DailyMail.com that Ye (previously known as Kanye West) had his teeth reduced significantly and shaped like small headstones, a common practice before getting dental veneers.

West’s professional trajectory took a dramatic downturn after he started promoting hateful, anti-Semitic remarks and publicly embraced neo-Nazism.

On October 8, 2022, he posted on Twitter: “I’m feeling quite drowsy tonight, but tomorrow I plan to raise the alert level to DEFCON 3 against Jewish people.” (DEFCON is a U.S. military term for Defense Readiness Condition)

This led to him no longer having several profitable sponsorship agreements and getting let go by his management company.

Currently, Kim Kardashian, aged 44, is referring to herself as a ‘single parent’, as Kanye West has not been spotted with their four children – daughters North (11), Chicago (6), and sons Saint (8) and Psalm (5) – for approximately 57 days.

During her conversation with Henry Winkler, the creator of SKIMS expressed feelings akin to being a solo parent, as Kanye West has been residing overseas with his latest spouse, Bianca Censori, for several months.

In September, he was recently spotted with his offspring. Kim mentioned to Winkler that she rarely discusses bringing up her children as it often leads to criticism.

And she added that she is basically raising four kids by herself.

In simpler terms, the star from reality TV explains that she often feels like a quick stop during a race for a driver, as she manages numerous tasks all at once.

Kim shared that she takes each of her four children to school daily, which she considers a special time for connecting with them.

In the month of November 2022, Kim and Kanye officially ended their marriage, which had lasted nearly seven years.
