One of the most talked-about superhero releases this year is Spider-Noir, a new Marvel series featuring Nicolas Cage as a Spider-Man from another universe. It’s being promoted as a darker, more realistic take on the character, so viewers can expect a very different version of the hero than they’re used to. But surprisingly, this gritty detective story will also include plenty of humor.
Sources at Gold Derby report that Spider-Noir is expected to be entered in the Comedy category at the upcoming Emmy Awards. Based on recent years, this likely means it will be up against popular shows like Shrinking, The Bear, and Hacks.
More to come.
