John Krasinski shares wife Emily Blunt’s reaction to ‘Sexiest Man’ win
As a longtime fan of John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, their adorable banter and heartwarming partnership always leave me in awe. The way they support each other through their respective careers is truly inspiring, and their playful jabs at one another never fail to bring a smile to my face.
John Krasinski shared the response of his wife Emily Blunt when he was named People’s Sexiest Man Alive back in 2024.
The main character from “The Office” earned the accolade as a result of garnering the highest number of votes cast by readers of “People Magazine” in their yearly survey.
During the acceptance speech for the award, Krasinski revealed that his wife, Emily Blunt (known for her role in Oppenheimer), found the honor quite amusing.
He shared with the media that there was plenty of happiness as he shared the news with her, and she responded with great excitement upon hearing it.
If Blunt’s husband were to be named Sexiest Man Alive, she playfully suggested they should cover their entire house with the magazine covers featuring his image.
“My children will love that, it won’t be weird at all,” he said of the decor plan.
14 years ago, I tied the knot with Emily Blunt at George Clooney’s stunning Lake Como residence in July 2010. We were introduced by our mutual friend Justin Theroux in 2008, and just under a year later, he popped the question and I happily accepted!
The two share two daughters Hazel, 10, and Violet, 8, and currently live in Brooklyn, New York.
In the interview, Krasinski mused about his marriage, stating, “Marriage is this incredible journey of continuous learning, transformation, and growth. I feel incredibly fortunate to be experiencing all these changes alongside her.
Emily Blunt, who played the lead role in “The Quiet Place,” is set to appear in the upcoming action-packed film titled “Fountain of Youth.” She’ll be sharing the screen with Natalie Portman in this movie.
John Krasinski continues to develop a currently unnamed Jack Ryan production, a character he’s portrayed since 2018 in the Amazon Prime series that shares its title with Tom Clancy’s well-known books.
In June of last year, the fourth and final season of the espionage TV show became available for streaming. Recently, it was disclosed that he is set to return to his character in a movie produced by Amazon MGM Studios.
Jack Ryan seasons 1-4 are now streaming exclusively on Prime Video.
