As someone who has spent decades in the entertainment industry, I must say that it is heartening to see television networks taking the welfare of their talent more seriously, especially after the scandals that have marred shows like Strictly and Dancing On Ice in recent years.

She never puts a foot wrong with fashion.

It was entirely expected that Holly Willoughby would appear stylish, as she did when she went to a private dinner event at Claridge’s Hotel in Mayfair on Tuesday.

In a chic black trouser suit, the presenter, who is 43 years old, had a wonderful time socializing during her night out with celebrities such as Alex Scott and Mabel.

Holly accentuated her style by donning nearly invisible heels, a petite black purse, and dazzling gold hoop earrings.

Behind him trailed sports analyst Alex, aged 40, who exuded confidence in a generously-sized, striking white fur coat.

She put the outfit on top of a shimmering dress, which she matched with a similar headscarf and metallic shoes.

28-year-old singer Mabel showcased her striking physique in a sleek black dress featuring a see-through bodice, complemented by a petite silver handbag.

Holly’s outing comes as she gears up to host the upcoming season of Dancing On Ice.

Last month, the participants were officially declared, and they’ve been intensely preparing for the upcoming series, which kicks off in January.

A 24-hour hotline for stars to voice their worries has been allegedly established by bosses, in response to the bullying controversy on Strictly Come Dancing.

As reported by The Sun, ITV executives have reportedly distributed a six-page document to their list of celebrities, assuring them they are free to express themselves without worrying about abusive backlash.

This year, much like the chaperones for Strictly, the celebrities will be paired with a producer to look after their well-being.

According to a source, ITV prioritizes the well-being of its show participants, ensuring that every contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing on Ice feels comfortable expressing concerns if something seems amiss. In other words, they are committed to maintaining a supportive environment for their stars.

Individuals can reach out to a round-the-clock helpline staffed by experts for addressing issues related to bullying, as well as seeking assistance regarding their mental wellbeing anytime they need it.

They’ve received a letter detailing the expectations for the performance and guidelines on their behavior.

The letter, allegedly acquired by the publication, seems to caution celebrities participating in the program that it could potentially exhaust them both physically and mentally.

It also warns stars about conduct with their professional skating partners, adding: ‘Winning should never come at the expense of integrity and respect.’

These actions follow the turbulent 20th anniversary of Strictly Come Dancing on BBC, which has been tarnished by scandal. Last October, actress Amanda Abbington abruptly left the show and subsequently accused her partner Giovanni Pernice of abuse. However, he was later exonerated of ten out of sixteen allegations against him.

The show faced a new burst of controversy after Graziano Di Prima was dismissed in July for allegedly physically abusing his co-star, Zara McDermott from Love Island.

Previously this year, the ex-contestant on Dancing On Ice, Michael Barrymore, alleged that the producers of ITV were involved in some form of mistreatment.

Today, the ex-television personality, aged 72, released a harsh statement on social media, sparking a reaction from ITV. In response to his unfounded accusations, ITV dismissed them as baseless, emphasizing that the well-being of their show’s stars is their utmost concern.

Barrymore posted on X: ‘It’s hard to understand why BBC’s #Strictly is being criticized this week when ITV’s Dancing On Ice allegedly treated their celebrities and dancers similarly, if not more harshly. I myself experienced unacceptable behavior from producers at ITV during my brief time with them…’

But ITV hit back and insisted its stars were looked after while taking part in the programme.

In response to Barrymore’s statements, an ITV representative informed TopMob that they do not acknowledge such unproven assertions.

Michael had to skip the live performances on Dancing on Ice because he got hurt during practice.

The training session occurs either at public ice-skating arenas, overseen by skating monitors or safety personnel, or within our show’s production studio in Bovingdon, where the production team provides supervision.

Beyond that, during our training sessions, you’ll often find independent skating coaches keeping a watchful eye. Rest assured, we’ve always been open about our care procedures for everyone involved in our production, and our dedication to their wellbeing remains unwavering – it’s our utmost priority!

After departing from Dancing on Ice, Barrymore expressed that he thoroughly enjoyed every moment during his time on the show when speaking with This Morning.

With a cast on his wrist, he shared with ex-hosts Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, both known for their work on the popular ice skating program, that it had been a truly wonderful experience.

This year’s lineup for Dancing on Ice includes TOWIE star Ferne McCann, Mollie Pearce from The Traitors, Olympic athlete Sir Steve Redgrave, Sam Aston from Coronation Street, Charlie Brooks of EastEnders, and comedian Josh Jones.

Gathered with them are the ex-football player Anton Ferdinand, actress Chelsee Healey from Hollyoaks, reality TV personality Dan Edgar from TOWIE, Chris Taylor known for Love Island, television presenter Michaela Strachan, and Paralympic athlete Dame Sarah Storey.
