Aussie woman reveals 'I could have been the next Kim Kardashian' after meeting Kanye at Ivy and being invited to party with the rap superstar

As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for the extraordinary and an ear for captivating stories, I find myself utterly fascinated by this tale of Belle’s chance encounter with Kanye West. The mid-aughts in Sydney seemed to be brimming with opportunity and glamour, as evident from the vibrant nights at Justin Hemmes’ iconic Ivy nightclub.

A woman who met Kanye West in Sydney during the 2000s claims she might have become the next Kim Kardashian, given the opportunity.

Sydney resident Belle shared during her KIIS FM appearance on Wednesday that she encountered the rapper at The Ivy and received an invitation to celebrate with him afterwards.

Belle wasn’t able to specify the exact year, but she mentioned that the event took place during Kanye’s time when he wore colorful sunglasses.

She mentioned, “Back then, he was wearing those distinctive yellow Venetian glasses, right?

In the year 2007, Kanye debuted a pair of shades that are commonly referred to as shutter shades, slatted shades, louvered shades, or Venetian blind-style shades, in his Stronger music video.

As a lifestyle enthusiast looking back, I find myself reminiscing about the incredible moment in late 2006 when I had the privilege of experiencing Kanye West’s “Touch the Sky” tour in Australia. This tour was a stunning display of his artistic prowess, serving as a platform to promote his second studio album, “Late Registration.

It was the second world tour of his music career.

‘He was really smooth,’ Belle recalled.

‘He was trying to find out what we were doing after.’

During the heyday of the 2000s, Belle was dancing with her friends at Justin Hemmes’ prestigious Ivy nightclub, a place that regularly attracted wealthy VIPs and renowned international artists from the A-list scene.

Kyle wondered if she could recall the smell of his breath, possibly alluding to medical assertions that the rapper’s titanium veneers might lead to bad breath.

Belle didn’t recall, but admitted the rapper ‘was heaps shorter than I thought!’

She said that she remembers feeling nervous and excited in the  presence of the 5’8 fashion designer, and said that he’d repeatedly asked her what she was doing after the party.

‘He was like, “What you doing after?”‘

Ultimately, Belle turned the famous musician down and chose to remain with friends.

‘I was like “F**k! I could’ve been the next Kim!” she exclaimed, and then sighed. ‘But I’m not.’

Later, Kanye wed Kardashian and together they had four kids. However, they ended up divorcing in 2022.

He went on to marry Australian Yeezy employee Bianca Censori that same year.

Last month, a manager anonymously referred to Ivy’s Level 6 bar as being “just one step away” from resembling a brothel, according to recent reports.

At an exclusive establishment, which charges annual membership fees of $10,000, staff members have come forward with serious accusations of sexual misconduct and being coerced to cater to the predominantly affluent male patrons.

Instead, these carefully chosen attractive females, typically ranging from 18 to 21 years old, serving as hosts, could expect to receive Gucci handbags and earning tips amounting to approximately $600 over the course of a few evenings at work.

A nameless employee disclosed to the Nine news outlet that employees were explicitly instructed they couldn’t decline a customer offering to purchase them a drink.

According to another source, when senior Merivale personnel were under the influence of alcohol or drugs at the venue, staff members felt pressured to join them in drinking, and it was quite challenging to refuse.

According to Merivale, they took the accusations very seriously, yet they didn’t have any documentation of them on file.
