This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Latin Grammys.
The live broadcast of the awards ceremony is set for Univision, Galavisión, and ViX on Thursday, November 14, starting at 8 p.m. Eastern Time/Pacific Time. This comes after a one-hour pre-show celebration. The event itself will be held at the Kaseya Center in Miami.

What is the Latin Grammy Premiere?
Just hours prior to the 25th Latin Grammys, the Latin Academy is set to broadcast the annual Latin Grammy Premiere across its YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, and Instagram platforms. The event commences on Thursday, Nov. 14, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific Time or 1 p.m. Eastern Time. Please note that this is not the main ceremony but rather where most of the awards will be presented.

The pre-show event will be hosted by Latin Grammy nominees, namely María Becerra, Juliana, and Luísa Sonza. This event promises to showcase performances from a star-studded lineup that includes Ale Acosta, Valeria Castro, Alok, Fonseca, Leonel García, Grupo Niche, Draco Rosa, Rozalén, and the dynamic duo Vikina & Deorro.

Two categories were added to the Latin Grammy this year: Latin Electronic Music Performance and Contemporary Mexican Music Album.
Who is the Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year?
2024 finds Colombian music sensation, Carlos Vives, being recognized as the Person of the Year by the Latin Recording Academy. This esteemed honor comes for the artist who has amassed 18 Latin Grammy Awards and two Grammys. A grand gala will take place prior to the Thursday awards ceremony to acknowledge his achievements.
Who is nominated?
This year, Mexican-American music mastermind Edgar Barrera is at the top again with nine nominations, which include nods for Songwriter of the Year and Producer of the Year. Colombian vocalist Karol G and Puerto Rican reggaeton sensation Bad Bunny are close behind with eight nominations each, including a contention for Record of the Year.
