Travelers visiting Australia are required to make a declaration about any items that could be classified as “wildlife products,” due to the country’s stringent biosecurity measures.

In addition to other items, this rule applies to luxury goods made from materials such as leather and fur. If celebrities intend to show off their high-priced handbags and authentic furs to the media before entering the jungle, they should reconsider their decision or face the possibility of having those items taken away.

Items like leather products, hides, fur, and animal skins can be imported as long as they’ve been properly and completely tanned. However, it’s mandatory to declare them upon entry.

It’s forbidden to bring imitation items such as branded or designer apparel like clothes, handbags, footwear, cosmetics, perfumes, and hair straightening tools with you.

Vapes

Australia has incredibly strict rules when it comes to vapes and tobacco products.

It turns out that for any vaping product to enter the country, it should come with a doctor’s prescription.

In Australia, it is compulsory to purchase vaping devices exclusively from pharmacies, whereas in the United Kingdom, these products can be sold at vape stores, supermarkets, and convenience stores.
