Made In Chelsea’s Tabitha Willett has secretly tied the knot with businessman Harry Hoare, only four months after getting engaged.
The TV star shocked fans by revealing they’re getting married in November to the son of the late Timothy Hoare, who was a close friend of Sarah Ferguson.
The Times also published a formal announcement about it in their births, marriages, and deaths section.
Willett, 33, recently married her fiancé at Chelsea Town Hall. She’s currently expecting her first child with him and is also a mother to six-year-old Ottilie from a previous relationship.
On Wednesday, the TV star posted a blurry video on Instagram showing her and Hoare standing outside a venue on King’s Road, with guests throwing confetti on them.
Instead of a traditional wedding dress, Willett chose a cream-colored pantsuit and a wide-brimmed hat when she married Hoare, who looked sharp in a two-piece suit.
Ottilie stood with her mother, seemingly as a bridesmaid at Willett’s wedding, and wore a classic white lace dress.
She shared a short video and wrote in the caption that because her social media was filled with April Fool’s Day jokes involving AI, she wanted to share this one too.
As a lifestyle observer, I have to say the news of Willett’s engagement definitely took many Made In Chelsea viewers by surprise! We all watched her short-lived romance with Arman Pouladian-Kari unfold on screen just before the announcement, so it felt a bit unexpected, to say the least.
Hoare’s wealthy stockbroker father Timothy passed away aged 69 in 2019.
Oh my gosh, even at his funeral in London, it was still full of amazing people! I mean, Sarah Ferguson, the Duchess of York herself, was there, and her beautiful daughters, Eugenie and Beatrice! And Sir Bob Geldof! It was just… a testament to how much everyone adored him, seeing all those incredible figures paying their respects. I wish I could have been there, honestly.
The wealthy financier and his wife, Virginia, lived in Hollycombe House, a historic home in Liphook, Hampshire, and decorated it with beloved antiques.
In 2021, a valuable painting by the famous surrealist Salvador Dali, along with several ornaments and fine furniture, were sold at auction from a private estate.
Timothy went to the well-known private school Eton and was a close friend of Bob Geldof, the famous musician who spearheaded the Band Aid effort to help those suffering from famine in Ethiopia during the 1980s.
The financier had been married three times and had five children.
In 1993, he established T Hoare & Co, a thriving brokerage that provided financing for mining projects globally.
Once a well-known and jovial personality, as described by Sebastian Shakespeare of the Daily Mail, he gained notoriety in 2006 when he fatally shot a leopard while in Tanzania.
