Nicole Scherzinger slammed for 'coming out as a Trump supporter' on Russell Brand's election post

As a lifestyle expert with years of experience in navigating the complex world of celebrity culture and politics, I find myself both surprised and disheartened by Nicole Scherzinger‘s recent show of support for Russell Brand’s ‘Make Jesus First Again’ hat.

Fans became upset when Nicole Scherzinger endorsed Russell Brand’s campaign ‘Make Jesus First Again’.

The photo was posted on Election Day and captured Russell, 49, proudly brandishing a red ‘Make Jesus First Again’ hat. ‘God Bless America,’ he captioned the post.

As a devoted admirer, I couldn’t help but express my enthusiasm when I saw Scherzinger, 46, sporting that MAGA-esque accessory. Excitedly, I inquired in the comments: ‘Where can I obtain this hat?’ accompanied by prayer hands and a heart emoji to show my enthusiasm.

It seems that the singer from The Pussycat Dolls didn’t show support for an image or openly endorse any candidate, yet her positive comment about the hat ignited anger among other Instagram users.

DailyMail.com has contacted a representative for Scherzinger for comment.

The picture was posted online prior to Donald Trump’s victory in the presidential election against Kamala Harris, who had campaigned under the slogan “Make America Great Again.

Instagram followers replied to Nicole with ‘No, hun, this ain’t it at all.’

‘F***ing hell, Nicole, not this,’ another wrote.

‘Complimentary yet concerning comment,’ one posted. A year ago, accusations of rape, sexual assault, and emotional abuse against Russell surfaced, dating from his peak in the industry, prompting police investigation. However, Russell firmly denies all charges levied against him.

Trump has been accused on multiple occasions of inappropriate sexual behavior, and in May of this year, a court in New York determined that he was responsible for sexually abusing author E. Jean Carroll.

In reference to X, I expressed my perspective on social media by saying, “It seems entirely plausible that Nicole Scherzinger is a Trump supporter.

One quipped that the post may have hurt the Sunset Blvd. star’s odds at getting a Tony.

‘Well the Best Actress Tony race just got a little less competitive,’ another tweeted.

Born and raised as a devout Catholic, Scherzinger frequently attends church services on a weekly basis, as she shared in a 2019 interview with The Guardian.

English actor Brand, meanwhile, has previously weighed in on American politics.

Back in June, just prior to President Joe Biden’s departure from the campaign trail and Vice President Kamala Harris taking the reins, I found myself grappling with a conundrum: how could fellow freedom enthusiasts cast their votes for Biden instead of Trump?

During a recent broadcast of his podcast “Stay Free With Russell Brand,” Russell Brand voiced his discontent regarding the American presidential election.

Brand, who has been vocal against censorship, said he feels ‘concerned’ about the ‘snobbery, contempt and condemnation’ by liberals of Trump supporters who are ‘plainly held by his detractors’, adding that they have been responsible for the ‘weaponization of the legal system’.

The comedian remarked: “When it comes down to a simple decision between Donald Trump and Joe Biden, if you value democracy and liberty, I can’t imagine any other choice except voting for Donald Trump, as some argue you shouldn’t.

He went on to say that ‘they act as if a vote for is almost like you’re directly voting for Armageddon, like you see hysterical performances outside of courtrooms, endless MSNBC bombast.’

‘But I’m starting to think that no, a greater threat to democracy is this kind of technological feudalism, that tells you that it cares about you and that it’s protecting vulnerable people, all the while increasing censorship, increasing the funding of wars, increasing the division between ordinary Americans,’ he added.
