In simpler terms, a Pokémon TCG Pocket Deck comprises twenty cards, which include both Pokémon and Trainer cards. Let’s delve deeper into the structure of the Charizard deck.
Pokémon cards included
To create an effective Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) Pocket Deck, it’s essential to include multiple Pokémon cards. In this specific deck, we’ve incorporated 15 distinct Pokémon cards. However, remember that the rules limit you to having just two of each card in your deck, so constructing a well-balanced deck requires some careful planning and precision.
Charmander, Charmeleon, and Charizard

Initially, we added two Charmander, two Charmeleon, and two Charizard EX or standard Charizard cards to the collection. In case you don’t possess Charizard EX cards, regular Charizard cards will work fine as well.
To play a Charmeleon, you must first evolve one of your active or benched Charmanders. The same goes for playing Charizard: you must first evolve Charmeleon.
A Charizard-themed deck wouldn’t truly embody its theme if it didn’t include the legendary Charizard. It’s the powerful EX card, capable of dishing out 200 points of damage per attack, that gives this Pokemon its strength.
Vulpix and Ninetales

As an ardent Pokémon enthusiast, let me share a thrilling revelation: The upcoming evolution cards I’m about to unveil consist of two Vulpixes and two Ninetales. Given that my Charizard deck is all about harnessing the raw power of fire energies, expect a significant number of cards in this deck to be of the fiery type!
Although Vulpix may not be the most powerful Pokemon, its evolution into Ninetales is a challenge that many players would rather avoid. The Pokemon’s Flamethrower attack inflicts 90 damage, an amount equal to the health points (HP) of Ninetails itself. What makes this move even more formidable is that it only requires two energy sources for activation.
Eevee and Flareon

As a gamer, I’ve found it crucial to have not one but two Eevee cards in my deck if I want to bring out its evolved form, Flareon, during gameplay. Being a Normal-type Pokémon, Eevee requires this duo for its evolutionary process.
As a devoted admirer, let me share my excitement about Flareon – this Pokémon boasts an impressive HP level and possesses a formidable Flamethrower attack that packs a punch with 110 points of damage! This single blow is enough to knock out any basic Pokémon in one fell swoop. Quite the powerhouse, isn’t it?
Kangaskhan

To build a strong deck, it’s wise to incorporate some Normal-type Pokémon, as they can be helpful when facing decks containing cards that your own deck may be weak against.
Incorporating a Kangaskhan into our Charizard deck, we’ve got a basic Pokémon that boasts 100 HP and offers an attack called Dizzy Punch, which can be executed with just a single energy card.
Poké Ball

Our Charizard deck has five Trainer cards, two of them being Poké Ball. This card puts one random basic Pokémon from your deck into your hand.
In battles, the Poké Ball is particularly handy, especially in decks with numerous evolutions. If you’ve got Charmeleon and Charizard but no Charmander on hand, this card could be very beneficial for you.
Professor’s Research

The Professor’s Research card functions as an additional Training tool, enabling you to grab two cards. Having two of these cards in your collection increases your odds of obtaining the cards essential for particular evolutions.
Giovanni

We have chosen to include one Giovanni in our Charizard-themed Pokémon TCG Pocket deck, as it is a useful but not entirely needed card. The Trainer card allows all attacks during one turn to do +10 damage to your opponent’s Active Pokémon.
This card could literally be your trump card for winning a battle.
