As a seasoned observer of the world of entertainment and business, I must say that it’s always fascinating to see how people rise through the ranks, making names for themselves and amassing fortunes along the way.

At one point, David Beckham had such a strong bond with Prince Harry that he and his spouse, Victoria, attended their wedding at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor, which took place in 2018.

Since then, the Beckhams have moved away from Harry and Meghan, yet their connections with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are growing stronger.

It’s revealed that Prince William has selected the ex-PR chief of David Beckham as the fresh Head of Communications for his groundbreaking Homewards project, an endeavor aimed at eradicating homelessness.

Homewards is a five-year charity project run by William and Catherine’s Royal Foundation.

Victoria Shires, aged 34, served as the PR Head for approximately three years at DB Ventures, which is a collection of brands and enterprises owned by Beckham, generating substantial income for the retired English football player.

According to Shires, who recently began working there, the initial three weeks at the Royal Foundation of the Prince and Princess of Wales have been truly wonderful.

As a dedicated follower, I’m already reaping the benefits of my connections. For the past seven years, I’ve been immersed in programme publicity at ITV. Last week, ITV1 aired the two-part Homewards documentary, which is the heir to the throne’s project. Launching this as my first endeavor here has been an absolute pleasure for me.

Last month, William and Beckham were pictured sharing a private joke together as they inspected two London Air Ambulances bought with money they had helped to raise.

This week, Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest child of the Beckham family at 25 years old, was questioned about who he spends more time with between Harry and Meghan or William and Catherine. During an appearance on the US podcast Watch What Happens Live, Brooklyn replied that it’s ‘probably William.’ He went on to express his admiration for William, calling him “the sweetest guy ever,” and praising his down-to-earth nature and good character.

David and Victoria, with an approximately shared wealth of £455 million, were previously quite close to the Sussex family, extending a particularly kind act in the lead-up to their wedding.

Upon returning to her hometown Los Angeles and discovering photographers stationed at her mother’s residence, the Beckham family generously made available their six-bedroom, Italian-inspired mansion within the city for Meghan’s use. She was catered to by their household staff there.

After Meghan settled into Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace, Victoria, who was growing her fashion brand to include beauty items, offered her cosmetic advice and had one of her team assist with skincare treatments like facials and hairstyling – all complimentary.

Upon hearing about the Beckhams’ charitable actions being shared in the media, it is reported that Meghan took offense. Yet, the Beckhams asserted they hadn’t disclosed any details. Nonetheless, sensitive sources claim that Harry and Meghan grew wary towards them due to this incident.

Though David and I were fortunate enough to witness Harry and Meghan’s enchanting wedding vows, we weren’t among the privileged few invited to the star-studded evening soiree, a gathering that seemed to include several celebrities who were mere acquaintances to the Sussexes.

Regardless of the slight, David consented to Harry’s invitation to travel to Australia, where he would be organizing the Invictus Games – a renowned competition for wounded veterans – later in the year.

Despite enduring a strenuous 22-hour trip from London to Sydney, he found out that the duke refused to meet or even pose for a photo with him.

According to renowned biographer Tom Bower, it was Meghan who was the cause. She allegedly didn’t want any media competition from David, as expressed in his book, Revenge. It appeared that she wasn’t willing to tolerate any positive media coverage about the Beckhams and the Games that might surface in the media.

In a unique twist of fate, it was through a shared passion for a distinct sporting competition that found me alongside Prince William. We both made significant contributions to the joint effort for the 2010 Football World Cup bid. Regrettably, our endeavor fell short, but our camaraderie endured, and we maintained contact.

David, a devoted monarchist, consistently displayed his loyalty by dressing elegantly and applauding the Queen’s annual speech during Christmas. Fast forward to years later, he patiently waited for 12 hours to pay his respects as he viewed the Queen’s coffin when it was on display.

Sophie ‘so happy’ to be home after Jones split

After Sophie Turner’s difficult separation from American pop star Joe Jonas, who is the father of her two young children, the actress from Game of Thrones feels reassured being back in the United Kingdom.

This week, an actress born in Northampton received the Harper’s Bazaar Woman of the Year award for her role in ITV drama Joan. Turner, aged 28, expressed her joy upon returning as she accepted the award while wearing a mini white dress adorned with fringes by Louis Vuitton at the ceremony held at Claridge’s in Mayfair.

Every moment away from London feels like a brief hiatus in my existence,” I confess. “Back home, surrounded by my loved ones, is where I truly resonate as myself.

Following the end of her four-year marriage, the actress is now in a relationship with Peregrine ‘Perry’ Pearson, the son and heir of Viscount Cowdray, as they have rediscovered love together.

First Dates Fred rakes in a fortune

He’s the charming maitre d’ on Channel 4 show First Dates, and Fred Sirieix certainly knows how to look after himself, too.

The French sommelier, 52, has served himself a £270,000 dividend at his business.

The latest financial reports for Art of Service reveal they earned a profit of approximately £750,000 over the past year ending in July. This brings their total accumulated profits within the company up to nearly £2.1 million.

How J Lo got to grips with wrestling role

Jennifer Lopez clearly took her role seriously as a mother-of-four in the new film Unstoppable.

The biopic is based on American wrestling champion Anthony Robles, who overcame the odds after being born with one leg.

55-year-old J-Lo, who portrays her character Judy Robles, disclosed that she invited her on-screen kids over to her house to maintain a sense of authenticity.

She shared that she invited them to her home, and in doing so, she took on a protective role similar to a mother bear on a movie set, as she explained during the London screening at Cineworld Leicester Square.

‘You have to have that comfortable physical thing, as well as an emotional thing.’

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share that embodying this captivating role was nothing short of enchanting. I found myself immersed, almost as if the character became an extension of me.

The film is produced by Artists Equity – a company owned by her estranged husband, Ben Affleck, and she says it was ‘relatable for women dealing with challenging relationships’.

Harry and Meghan absent from Hollywood pal’s birthday bash

Are things friendly now between the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their friends David Foster and Katharine McPhee in Hollywood?

It seems they didn’t attend Foster’s grand 75th birthday celebration held at the bustling Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, as neither Prince Harry nor Meghan were seen. Additionally, there was no birthday greeting displayed on the big screen, nor any apology for their absence announced.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d put it this way: In my perspective, being a close confidant and almost like a mentor or guide to Harry, Foster, at 75, a renowned Canadian record producer, has been compared to a ‘father figure’ following the prince’s strained relationship with King Charles. Interestingly, Foster and his wife, McPhee, a woman of 40, who shares an educational background with Meghan, have extended their support to the Sussexes after their departure from Britain. Their young son has even had the pleasure of playing alongside Prince Archie.
