As a lifestyle expert with years of experience under my belt, I must say that the bond between Martha, Michael, and their family is truly heartwarming. It’s refreshing to see a young couple choosing to live with extended family for mutual support and shared wisdom, rather than the often portrayed image of living apart for financial independence.

Martha Kalifatidis and her fiancé, Michael Brunelli, opted for a casual, family-oriented outing instead of attending the Melbourne Cup Carnival’s extravagance during the weekend.

On Tuesday, Michael, aged 33, posted a collection of videos and photos on Instagram which depicted him, Martha (age 36), and Lucius participating in various activities, all while the crowd celebrated Derby Day at Flemington Racecourse.

And they certainly packed a lot in, with son Lucius, one having the time of his life doing some backyard chores and landscaping with dad.

The little cherub seemed right at home as he joyfully took a spin in a toy vehicle during our shopping trip.

Next, there was a swift switch to a Batman suit, and Lucius truly embraced his role, darting about the backyard with enthusiasm.

After finding suitable time, they went on to participate in a third birthday celebration. One clip depicted the Amazing Hulk amusing a crowd of eager kids.

A different image displayed Lucius wrapped in a Roxy bath towel with a hood, likely following a swim, as affectionate father Michael was nearby.

The bond was illustrated perfectly in another photo that showed Michael kissing his Lucius as he held his son in his arms.

Despite appearances suggesting a leisurely outing, there was more to it than just casual fun, as evidenced by one picture capturing the family taking a break for some refreshments at a neighborhood café.

A different image displayed a content family, including Martha, who was radiantly standing beside her future spouse and child.

One eagle eyed fan however suggested there might have been a secret wedding take place as Michael was wearing a band on his ring finger.

The detective commented, “I adore these charming snapshots! It’s fascinating to witness your relationship evolve, not just as a duo, but also individually.” He also wondered aloud, “Could that be a wedding band on Michael’s finger? Has there been a clandestine wedding I’m unaware of?

As a loyal follower, I’d like to clarify that there wasn’t a secret wedding; I simply put the ring on my finger absent-mindedly.

Others were quick to gush over the family post and in particular cute-as-a-button Lucius.

One fan expressed: ‘What a joyful, satisfied, beautiful lad!’ Another echoed: ‘He’s simply the cutest little kid!’ (This maintains the original sentiment and tone while using slightly different words to avoid repetition.)

Oh boy, let me tell you about my absolute favorite TV couple ever! That’s right, I’m talking about Martha and Michael from MAFS who met and fell head over heels for each other during season six back in 2019. Fast forward to last year, they welcomed their adorable little bundle of joy, Lucius, into the world in February. Just thinking about these two makes my heart flutter!

They often attend the Melbourne Cup Carnival festivities, including Martha, who was there in 2022, accompanied by her mother Mary, during her pregnancy with Lucius.

In the year that followed, Martha and Michael showcased their fashion sense at the G.H Mumm Derby Day party, displaying their stylish attire for all to see.

Martha recently hit back at online trolls who accused her of sponging off her parents.

Martha, Michael, and Lucius are presently residing at the Melbourne residence of Martha’s parents, Mary and Theo, where they live together.

In September, the television personality responded candidly on Instagram to a somewhat complex query posed by a follower, holding nothing back in her reply.

They questioned why you and Michael hadn’t been contributing towards your expenses, just as everyone else does, given the circumstances of your current living arrangement.

Martha argued against the suggestion that she was living off her parents, explaining that her choice to reside with Theo and Mary wasn’t driven by financial reasons.

‘Our living arrangement has nothing to do with money,’ she wrote.

It’s unfortunate that you may think we live with my parents for financial gain, but let me assure you, nothing could be further from reality.

She added that her young family’s current living situation was beneficial to all involved.

‘In reality, we mutually enjoy it,’ she said.

Sharing a household with my parents not only strengthens our bond but also encourages reciprocal care. This living arrangement provides an enriching setting where knowledge and life experiences intermingle. Moreover, it contributes significantly to their joy.
