Brad Pitt breaks silence after he was ‘caught off guard’ by ‘disgusting’ fan who grabbed his neck for a kiss

As a devoted fan of Brad Pitt since his Days of Thunder days, I must say this latest incident at the Mexican Grand Prix left me both amused and appalled. On one hand, it’s heartwarming to see such passion from his fans, but on the other, common sense and respect for personal boundaries seem to have taken a back seat.

Fervent followers of Brad Pitt became agitated when an overly enthusiastic female fan reached out, touched him around the neck area, and planted a kiss on his cheek during the Mexican Grand Prix.

But despite the furor, the Hollywood star, 60, was unfazed by the impromptu display of affection and is simply happy it was a kiss and not a ‘punch in the face.’

While I was busy filming my latest project, F1, an enthusiastic admirer made a surprise approach. She rushed towards me, grabbed hold of my neck, and planted a kiss on me – all this while trying to immortalize the unexpected moment by recording it with her phone. Quite an unconventional encounter!

Pitt was ‘caught off guard’ by the interaction but didn’t feel ‘threatened.’

A source close to the matter shared with DailyMail.com that Brad always seems calm and never expresses negativity when engaging with fans who show appreciation for him.

Although it took him by surprise, in the long run, he’s grateful for his unwavering, ardent supporters. He didn’t sense any threat and had no problems with the interaction.

At the close of the day, a friendly kiss on the cheek is undeniably more pleasant than receiving a blow to the face.

Pitt seemed to struggle to break free as the woman, giggling, was being escorted away by his security team after he attempted to release himself.

The ‘disgusting’ behavior irked fans who branded the fan ‘disrespectful.’

One individual on X commented: ‘This behavior is completely inappropriate. To begin with, you’re encroaching upon his personal boundaries; remember, he’s a fellow human being. Secondly, you didn’t ask for his permission. Thirdly, he seems to be tired of the filming and moreover, he went back specifically to take a picture with you – could you please act with respect?’

Another user added: ‘Disgusting.’

Someone else wrote: ‘Crazy old women. Poor Brad. That was harassment.’

Actor Brad Pitt, currently in a relationship with model Ines de Ramon, unexpectedly showed up at a recent race to shoot footage for an upcoming film. The plot revolves around Pitt’s character, Sonny Hayes – a retired racer who gets drawn back into the sport when a friend persuades him to take on the role of a mentor.

The twice-Oscar-winning actor, yet to complete his extensive divorce proceedings with Angelina Jolie, was spotted enthusiastically waving a large Mexican flag upon doffing his helmet and getting immersed in his role last October.

The racing season for F1 began last summer at the Silverstone Circuit in the United Kingdom, with the actor from Fight Club participating in numerous Grand Prix races throughout the season.

The initial trailer was unveiled at the British Grand Prix in July, a event that Pitt visited alongside his partner.

In this movie, Joseph Kosinski serves as the director, while actors such as Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Damson Idris, Sarah Niles, and Tobias Menzies also join the cast.

Racing legend Lewis Hamilton is producing alongside Pitt and Jerry Bruckheimer.

The creation of it involved a joint effort with Formula One and its broader community, including all 10 racing teams, their drivers, the FIA, and event organizers. Each contributed significantly to ensuring the narrative’s accuracy.

According to Deadline, it was purchased by Apple for approximately $130 million to $140 million, excluding executive bonuses.

F1 is slated for release on June 27, 2025 in North America.
