This Barbie's a new mom: Margot Robbie reportedly welcomes first baby with Tom Ackerley

As a seasoned movie critic with a penchant for uncovering the hidden narratives behind celluloid tales, I must admit that witnessing the evolution of an artist’s life beyond the silver screen is always a fascinating journey. Margot Robbie‘s recent transition into motherhood adds yet another intriguing chapter to her already captivating story.

Margot Robbie has entered her motherhood era.

According to reports, the actress and producer who was nominated for an Oscar in “Barbie”, and her husband Tom Ackerley, a film producer, have become parents to a newborn son. The details of his name and birthdate remain undisclosed at this time, but People magazine has confirmed the news.

On Monday, a spokesperson for Robbie didn’t promptly provide verification when contacted by The Times.

34-year-olds Robbie and Ackerley fueled pregnancy speculations during the summer. In July, the Daily Mail posted images of these two actors, known for “The Wolf of Wall Street” and “Bombshell,” sporting a belly-revealing top on a boat in Lake Como, Italy. Following the widespread dissemination of these pictures online, insiders told People magazine that the rumors were true – Robbie and Ackerley are indeed expecting their first child.

The secretive pair tied the knot in December 2016. Robbie and Ackerley established Lucky Chap Entertainment alongside producers Josey McNamara and Sophia Kerr back in 2014, coincidentally also the year they started dating after crossing paths on the set of “Suite Française.

From its inception, Lucky Chap has been responsible for creating films featuring Robbie, such as “I, Tonya,” “Birds of Prey,” and “Barbie.” Additionally, they have shown support for Emerald Fennell’s “Promising Young Woman” and “Saltburn.” In the future, Lucky Chap will join forces with Fennell once more for her adaptation of “Wuthering Heights,” as well as backing upcoming film adaptations of “Monopoly” and the “Sims” video game series.
