As an ardent fan of both EastEnders and action-packed Christmas movies, I can hardly contain my excitement over Ricky Norwood’s latest role in Jingle All the Slay! After watching his charming portrayal of Fatboy for five eventful years on the soap opera, followed by his stints on Celebrity Big Brother and Dancing on Ice, it’s fascinating to see him branching out into a completely new genre.
Former EastEnders star Ricky Norwood has landed a role in a new Christmas movie.
As a huge fan, I’m thrilled to share that the talented actor, who brought Fatboy to life on BBC Soap from 2010 to 2015 and even made guest appearances last year, is set to shine in “Jingle All the Slay”! His stints on “Celebrity Big Brother” and “Dancing on Ice” only served to highlight his versatility, and I can’t wait to see him in this new role.
The movie is expected to feature Nick Sagar, known for “The Princess Switch,” along with Alexa Adeosun (Norwood has previously acted in similar productions). Moreover, the director of “Terrifier 3,” Bradley Stryker, will be at the helm.

“Hank Carter, an accomplished assassin, seeks one final chance to rescue his marriage. Desiring to provide his family with a picture-perfect Christmas at a lavish lakeside mansion, Hank endeavors to conceal his hazardous career.
However, if a reward is offered for him, a flurry of festive assassins invade the mansion during the holidays. In self-defense, Hank uses each holiday ornament available to fight them off, without letting his family know what’s happening.
Charley McDougall mentioned that he drew inspiration from films like “Jingle All the Way“, “Rush Hour“, and “John Wick“, expressing that “this movie is one we’re all familiar with, having been big fans of 90s cinema.

“Who doesn’t love a bit of festive fun mixed with some intense action?” Sagar added.
“We’re creating something completely fresh and can’t wait for everyone to join us for the ride.”
Over the coming week, the movie is going to search for a distributor at the American Film Market. As such, we don’t have a confirmed release date as of now.
On Monday through Thursday evenings at 7:30 PM, you can catch “EastEnders” on BBC One. Additionally, the program is available for streaming on BBC iPlayer, with many episodes becoming accessible as early as 6 AM, before they air on television.
