Saturday Kitchen guest says she has no regrets over ‘inappropriate’ outfit after viewers dubbed her top ‘too revealing’ for breakfast TV

Saturday Kitchen guest says she has no regrets over 'inappropriate' outfit after viewers dubbed her top 'too revealing' for breakfast TV

As a long-time fan of Saturday Kitchen and a seasoned viewer who has seen countless celebrity guests over the years, I must say I was taken aback by the recent appearance of Lulu. It seems that her charm and charisma, which have been a staple of British entertainment for decades, were lost in translation during this particular episode.

As a dedicated follower, I’d like to share that Kate Carter-Larg, our Saturday Kitchen guest, has addressed comments about her breakfast TV attire being considered too exposing.

On the BBC program, the 35-year-old proprietor of The Cheesy Toast Shack in St Andrews, accompanied by her spouse Sam (aged 39), made an appearance.

After appearing last week, she encountered criticism due to others considering her attire as being improper.

Yet, it’s been clarified that Kate remains firm in her decision about her chosen outfit, and she wouldn’t make any alterations if given the chance.

When asked by the Daily Star if she had any regrets, she replied emphatically: “Not at all! In fact, I would gladly revisit the topic. It’s wonderful that we can highlight small business owners and their entrepreneurial drive, watching them get up and demonstrate their skills.

In an instant, I’d return without hesitation. That day was absolutely splendid, one of the finest moments in my life. Not a single moment I’d want to alter, and I’d keep my style as it is, forever.

She commented: ‘Should I be invited again, I would choose the same outfit, no alterations needed. I’m quite content with who I am!’

In the given segment, Kate demonstrated an exciting culinary process by guiding viewers on making toast with macaroni and cheese as a tasty topping.

The entrepreneur opted for a stylish, burgundy strapless blouse with a deep neckline, paired it with navy trousers and completed the look with a brown waistband.

After appearing on the program, viewers commented on Twitter about her attire, saying, “She wore that shirt to cook?” or “Did she change into that top specifically for cooking?

I find it hard to focus on the program due to my concerns about her blouse constantly slipping and her attempts to adjust it. It seems rather unsuitable attire.

Clothing-related problems might divert focus from the performance itself. It would be ideal if these matters were resolved promptly, ensuring comfort for all involved parties, particularly her.

‘One guest dressed for summer’… ‘Has Kate just arrived back from a night out?’

Following the backlash from Saturday Kitchen viewers who criticized Lulu as the “most annoying guest they’ve ever had,” it’s now following that some viewers have threatened to stop watching.

75-year-old Scottish singers were accompanied by Matt Tebbutt, Georgina Hayden, Genevieve Taylor, and Jason Atherton, but their performance failed to impress the audience.

Lulu ruffled feathers by frequently referencing her age and how her grandchildren keep her hip.

Apart from voicing her disapproval of the spices Matt, aged 50, employed on his chicken, she unexpectedly burst into a rendition of “Music” by John Miles.

Speaking about the old Twitter, they expressed: “Oh dear, Lulu is undeniably the most irritating individual to watch on television. #SaturdayKitchen

In a more approachable manner: ‘I found Lulu on Saturday Kitchen to be excessively loud and boisterous, and I’m puzzled as to why she kept bringing up her age so often.’

‘Lulu on Saturday Kitchen and being absolutely f*****g insufferable as usual’;

‘Saturday kitchen Lulu is 75 Just in case she didn’t mention it. Scotland doesn’t like her, just like Sheena Easton. Fake as feck’;

It seems surprising that they would need to invite Lulu so soon since Saturday Kitchen airs weekly, doesn’t it? One might think they would still have other guests available.

Lulu made my weekend mornings quite awkwardly embarrassing, which I haven’t experienced in a while. Keep in mind that she is 75 and her show mainly focuses on music, as indicated by the hashtag #SaturdayKitchen.

‘Of all the guests in all the world … why just why? #SaturdayKitchen’.

Can you figure out my age without me telling you? Let’s see if you can take a shot at it. I wonder if you’ll be able to guess correctly.” (#saturdaykitchen)

Saturday Kitchen airs on BBC One live every Saturday at 10am.
