Sebastian Stan’s controversial new movie is now available to watch at home

As a seasoned gamer with a keen interest in movies that mirror real-life events, I must say, I’m intrigued by the release of Sebastian Stan’s film, “The Apprentice.” Having lived through the Trump era and seen its impact on global politics, I’m eager to delve into the story of his early career. The fact that it has a positive rating on Rotten Tomatoes makes me even more curious!

It’s now possible for U.S. residents to stream Sebastian Stan’s contentious TV show, titled “The Apprentice,” featuring Donald Trump, in their own homes.

The recently released movie centers around the early business ventures of a past U.S. president in New York real estate, as well as his connection with mentor Roy Cohn, portrayed by actor Jeremy Strong from “Succession.

US viewers now have the opportunity to purchase or rent “The Apprentice” through Prime Video, with rental options priced at $24.99 and purchases at $19.99. Unfortunately, UK viewers haven’t had access to it yet, but they can pre-order for £19.99 before its release date which is still unconfirmed.

Initially, the response to this film was quite varied, but over time, it’s managed to garner an impressive 81% ‘fresh’ rating on Rotten Tomatoes. As a devoted fan, I’m looking forward to seeing how it continues to be received!

Additionally, in the Ali Abbasi film, we see Maria Bakalova playing the role of Ivana, Trump’s first wife, and Martin Donovan portraying his father, Fred.

Initially, I faced quite a challenge getting my film distributed in the U.S., as Trump’s presidential campaign team threatened legal action. However, this controversy only seemed to fuel debates and discussions about the movie, making it even more intriguing for audiences.

In a recent conversation with the Los Angeles Times, Abbasi clarified that ‘The Apprentice’ is not intended as a politically biased criticism.

He explained that, unlike politics where one often simplifies matters for a specific impact to acquire or reclaim power, our aim here is quite different. Instead, we’re focused on delving into the intricacies and complexities.

As a captivated viewer, I must express that this story offers a profound exploration of its characters’ intricacies. For me, as someone from beyond these shores, this tale served as a lens to scrutinize aspects of the American system – notably, the deep-rooted corruption that seems entrenched within it, at least from my vantage point.

In the U.S., you can purchase or rent The Apprentice on Amazon Prime Video. A release date for the UK has not been announced as of now.
