Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania DLC Out Now
Oh boy, as a longtime fan of the Castlevania series and Vampire Survivors, I can’t help but feel like Christmas came early this year! The Ode to Castlevania DLC has taken my gaming experience to new heights with its impressive roster of characters, weapons, and music tracks. Dracula’s Castle is a sight to behold, and the fact that it doesn’t break the “zero vampires” rule is just the cherry on top!
The game titled “Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania” is now accessible, introducing another DLC collaboration between Konami and developer poncle for their reverse bullet hell monster-slaying game. This follows the launch of its “Contra ‘Operation Guns'” DLC in May.
The Ode to Castlevania expansion introduces more than twenty new characters, approximately forty weapons, over thirty musical tracks, and what Vampire Survivors boasts as its largest stage – Dracula’s Castle. Remarkably, the game manages to uphold its “no vampires” concept.
In this group of fresh characters, you’ll find Simon, Richter, Trevor, and Sonia from the Belmont clan, along with Sypha, Yoko Belnade, Charlotte Aulin, Maria Renard, Jonathan, and John Morris.
In swarms, there are Mudmen, Fleamen, spirits, and various monsters to defeat, and the game Vampire Survivors: Ode to Castlevania is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices. The cost is $3.99, £2.99, or €3.99.
