911 season 8, episode 6 is not on tonight, Oct. 31 (When will it air on ABC?)

As a die-hard 911 fan who’s seen more episodes than I care to count, I must admit that I was thrilled to see the Halloween special last week. However, the anticipation for a new episode on Halloween itself was like a kid waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve – disappointing, to say the least!

Last week’s special Halloween episode of 911 was truly captivating, however, it seems we won’t be treated to a new one on Halloween itself. Regretfully, fans must hold on for another installment from this popular ABC series.

In episode 5 of Season 8, the storyline revolved around Halloween celebrations, where characters participated in setting up a Halloween Haunted House event. Unfortunately, things didn’t go well for Evan Buckley (Oliver Stark). He mistook a lifelike prop for a real corpse, which added to his belief that he was under a curse. To make matters worse, he injured his shoulder and woke up with boils, leading him to believe the curse was taking effect throughout the episode.

In the latest episode, I found myself immersed in the joyous celebration of Hen (Aisha Hinds) and Karen Wilson’s (Tracie Thoms) family. However, the atmosphere shifted dramatically when their son, Denny (Declan Pratt), was unfortunately struck by a speeding vehicle, leaving us all on edge.

When will 911 season 8, episode 6 on ABC?

Fortunately, Denny turned out unscathed, and although Buck ended up with boils, it seems that their actions of burying the body and lifting the curse from Tommy (Lou Ferrigno Jr.) may have given Buck a reprieve from the boils for an additional day.

Although we enjoyed the Halloween special episode of 911 this week, we’ll need to hold on for another seven days until a fresh episode arrives. Instead, ABC will broadcast an encore of the quiz show Press Your Luck, featuring its own Halloween-themed episode.

Instead, the upcoming episode of 911, titled “Confessions,” is scheduled for airing on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 8/7c. From the synopsis and preview, it seems this episode may reference back to season 3’s “Eddie Begins” as both episodes revolve around emergencies related to wells.

Additionally, the plot introduces a crisis centering around a character going through a divorce, and Eddie Diaz (Ryan Guzman) continues to grapple with unresolved emotions regarding his late wife, Shannon. Her request for a divorce occurred only one day before her death, and he’s yet to fully recover from this emotional turmoil in their relationship. We can’t wait to follow his narrative as it unfolds, given that his son, Christopher, was left in Texas following the events of season 7 finale.

9-1-1 airs Thursdays on ABC at 8/7c. You can catch up on previous episodes on Hulu.
