Hip hop producer Metro Boomin hits out at rape accuser, claiming lawsuit is 'a pure shakedown'

As a fervent fan of Metro Boomin‘s groundbreaking beats and innovative music production, I’ve always admired his talent and creativity. However, recent allegations have left me utterly disheartened and shaken to my core. The accusations against him, if proven true, are not only morally reprehensible but also a stark contrast to the man I thought I knew through his music.

A well-known music producer, Metro Boomin, refuted claims that he sexually assaulted a woman who became intoxicated in 2016 and subsequently conceived a child with her.

In a court case, Vanessa LeMaistre, a woman claiming emotional distress, has sued the rapper, whose real name is Leland T. Wayne (age 31), over a past event. She’s requesting compensation for her mental suffering.

According to court documents reviewed by DailyMail.com, LeMaistre claims she fainted on a couch after taking half of a Xanax pill along with a shot of alcohol. She later woke up in a bed where Metro Boomin is alleged to have raped her and performed oral sex on her.

As an over-the-moon admirer, I can’t help but share some news that Metro Boomin’s legal representative, Lawrence Hinkle II, recently expressed about a lawsuit. In a statement to Dailymail.com on Wednesday, he labeled it as nothing more than a ‘blatant shakedown.’

As a loyal supporter speaking up, I’d like to clarify that the allegations being made are unfounded. Months ago, Mr. Wayne declined to honor her requests for payment, and he continues to do so now. In due course, Mr. Wayne intends to defend himself in a court of law. Once he has proven his innocence, he plans to file a claim for malicious prosecution.

According to LeMaistre, she encountered the rapper while traveling to Las Vegas in 2016, just following the heartbreaking death of her nine-month-old child.

While on their journey, Wayne extended an invitation for her to drop by his recording studio in California, a place where, as per court records, LeMaistre resided.

‘The lawsuit stated that she found joy in observing him perform due to her deep love for music. However, what made this even more significant was that music served as a means for her to temporarily evade the sorrow she felt following the loss of her son.’

Unfortunately, Ms. LeMaistre encountered Wayne under unfortunate circumstances; this encounter led to an experience she described as one of the two most traumatic events in her life – being sexually assaulted by an individual who had deceptively posed as a friend over several months.

On one evening in September 2016, it was claimed that upon LeMaistre’s arrival at the studio, she was offered a drink containing alcohol and consumed roughly half of a Xanax pill.

According to her legal representatives, LeMaistre was using Xanax to cope with challenging times and alleviate her grief-induced pain, following the loss of her son.

The following incident that Ms. LeMaistre remembers is waking up on a bed, in an unfamiliar place, with Wayne sexually assaulting her and being utterly powerless to move or speak. She experienced periods of consciousness for an undetermined duration but eventually regained full awareness, only to find Wayne performing oral sex on her, according to court records.

She stated that she blacked out once more, only to find herself in a hotel room alongside Wayne, with no idea about how she arrived there.

Approximately three weeks following the alleged rape by Wayne, Ms. LeMaistre discovered she was pregnant. Given that she hadn’t engaged in sexual activity with anyone else, Ms. LeMaistre came to the conclusion that the pregnancy was a consequence of the assault she had endured.

In November 2016, after the tragic passing of her son, LeMaistre chose to end her pregnancy through an abortion.

The court records suggest that about a year after the event, Metro Boomin put out a track named “Rap Saved Me” in 2017, which was a joint effort with 21 Savage and Offset, and this song is said to explicitly mention the occurrence.

The specific lyrics cited are: ‘She took a Xanny / Then she fainted / I’m from the gutter … ain’t no changing.’

Metro Boomin was involved in a separate sex scandal earlier this year.

Back in May, his casual association with the Drake-Kendrick Lamar dispute sparked online detectives to dig out some past tweets that seemed out of date, according to reports from XXL and HotNewHipHop at the time. (Paraphrased)

From 2011 to 2013, the singer (born on September 16, 1993) shared tweets while he was in his teenage years, specifically between the ages of 17 and 19. Controversial content within these posts reportedly included allusions to underage sexual activities and drug use like molly.

Metro Boomin asserted in a now-deleted May 6 tweet, “I couldn’t have been a pedophile at 15 years old,” using a term that is not appropriate to repeat here. This was reported by various media outlets at the time.
