Daisy Lowe gushes about her ‘gorgeous’ dad Gavin Rossdale as she shares sweet snaps from a family dinner to celebrate his birthday
As an ardent fan who has followed Daisy Lowe’s journey since her debut, I must say that this latest Instagram post of hers is just another testament to the extraordinary bond she shares with her family. The heartwarming celebration of her father’s birthday, the rekindled relationship with her mother Pearl, and the blossoming family life with fiancé Jordan Saul and their adorable daughter Ivy – it all paints a beautiful picture of love and unity.
On Wednesday, Daisy Lowe commemorated her father Gavin Rossdale‘s birthday by having a delightful family meal together and shared heartwarming photos from their outing on Instagram.
As a lifestyle enthusiast, I can’t help but share my heartfelt moment from last night. At a luxurious eatery in London, I found myself surrounded by dear ones – my aunt Lorraine, friend Jade De Robles, and my fiancé Jordan Saul. The conversation flowed effortlessly, but the highlight of the evening was when I couldn’t help but express my admiration for a special figure in my life: my stunning father. His presence adds an unmatched elegance to any gathering.
Posting a picture of her father blowing out his birthday candles, Daisy wrote: “@GavinRossdale Here’s to another great year!
Another image, posted by Gavin’s sister Lorraine, showed the group enjoying their meal together.
She titled her post as: “Happy Birthday @gavinrossdale! So joyful to celebrate with you, @jadederobles, @daisylowe, @jordanjaysaul, and @videoalex1.
2004 saw the confirmation of Gavin as Daisy’s biological father, following a short-lived romance with her mom, Pearl Lowe, back in 1989.
Originally, they were distant from each other, but by 2010, it became known that their relationship had been restored. Pearl stated in 2012: ‘For about half a year after I told her that I believed her father might be the musician Gavin Rossdale, things got pretty tense.’
‘Gavin threatened that if Daisy, who was 14 at the time, underwent a DNA test, he would cut off our friendship, and as it turns out, he followed through on his promise. Unfortunately, I lost him as a friend, but fortunately for Daisy, she now has a relationship with him.’
Following Daisy’s touching homage for her daughter Ivy on the occasion of her first birthday in April, we find ourselves thereafter.
She posted a video compilation of the little girl, from newborn to toddler, with adorable clips of her giggling, playing, dancing and sleeping set to Bobby Hebb’s classic Sunny.
In addition, she excitedly spoke of the immense happiness that Ivy had brought into her life, referring to her as ‘my dearest friend,’ who was ‘priceless beyond words and countless sleepless nights,’ expressing gratitude for selecting Daisy to be her child’s mother.
She wrote: ‘Our darling Ivy – happiest first birthday. A year ago today you burst into this world with your eyes wide open & Ivy, you supersonic supernova exploded our hearts wide open.
“You embody joy, you’re a magical charm, and you’re the wittiest, most luminous, and endearing creature I know. My cherished companion, my delightful jester, my endless source of laughter, my profound instructor. You are truly extraordinary!
I never imagined just how drastically you’d change my perspective – it’s been nothing but beneficial. You’re priceless, worth countless restless evenings; each day brings new wonders because of you.
Every day, there are numerous instances I long to preserve forever as time seems to race ahead, but each moment with you feels like a precious present.
‘Thank you for choosing me as your mama. Wishing you all that is great and good in the world. It is yours my angel – happy birthday’.
Daisy shared that Jordan told her back when they first met over four years ago, he’d one day take her to beautiful Bali as his fiancée.
Kicking off her vacation in Singapore, she’s been posting several family pictures to offer a peek at their memorable journey.
She wrote: ‘To celebrate our first year of parenting, we have decided to go on a special trip. An adventure we have talked about doing since the day we met & now we are actually doing it…. With our hilarious little baby girl.
Beginning our journey in Singapore, we were as clueless as astronauts, yet a visit to Gardens by the Bay left us utterly spellbound, even with heavy-lidded eyes. Our tour group was exhausted but let’s keep going!
Last spring, Daisy and Jordan proudly introduced their newborn daughter, Ivy, to the world through an Instagram post on April 9th.
